We had a great time there. Unfortunately, we got there just before the monarch butterflies got there. I loved visiting Mission Carmel and San Juan Bautista . Our last night we ate at Il Vecchio' s in Pacific Grove. Awesome food!
Hi CF !
Ah, Monterey. One of my favorite places. I like to go like two or three times a year. I could spend hours on a bench down by the wharf just watching the boats and birds. Not to mention enjoying the fabulous clam chowder on the wharf. There's also a spot out around the point where I can sit and watch the ocean or just turn around and look at the forest.
Hello, Mr. James! I just noticed you are from Modesto. I was in the Monterey Bay area in September for my anniversay. Aaaand.....my wife and I were stationed at Travis afb in the early 80s. Small world.
