Thanks for your kind words. I know what you mean about being friends in real life. That is one of the blessings of the internet, meeting people who we may never know in real life, but could still be friends with.
That is interesting that you teach special ed math. My mom is a special ed teacher and has a couple of high school special ed math classes, so I get to hear all of her stories.
As for the LOTH, ya, it is amazing how God can use it to speak to me. It always surprises me when I stop to think about how it is pretty much the same thing every 4 weeks or so, but each time I notice something different or it speaks to whatever I'm going through in life.
Was reading your response to the person who really doesn't like the Rosary and had to stop in. I've seen you around for a long time, and your responses always seem to have a good bit of common sense. Sometimes I have that feeling of "If I knew this person in real life, we might be friends".
So I clicked on to your profile. I am also a teacher (middle school special ed math), my name is also Karen (Elizabeth). I've been praying the LOH for about 3 years, too. My best friend is a Poor Clare, and she introduced me to the Hours. Sometimes I let it drop for a while - when I'm feeling like I'm just "getting through it", but I always come back to it, and feel like God uses that to speak to me.
I was born in 1964, have 2 teenage boys.... just throwing that out there.
