Just wanted to share an experience and see if anyone is willing to come aboard and join me on a 30 day juice fast to reboot and lose some unwanted poundage. The gist of it is that My wife and I sat down on the weekend and watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" and were inspired. We bought a juicer and have started a juice fast. Basically, it's 10, 15, 30 days or whatever you want where you drink only fresh made juice, water, and herbal tea. After speaking with my doctor we decided that the health benefits were pretty amazing and should be fine with routine checks. So we are off and running and looking for anyone else that may be interested!

I have practiced calligraphy since I was 12 years old. I am also a fan of J. R. R. Tolkien - author of The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. Tolkien invented languages and scripts - one of them that was featured in his books, commonly known as 'Elvish', but he named it 'Tengwar'. I have always had a fondness for puzzles and secret codes, and I taught myself how to write English using his 'Elvish' font - which pairs nicely with calligraphy. Here is an example:

It's been two months since the last NTC game wound down. So, starting over.

Each entry is a description of a book plot, without naming the title, author, or any of the characters. The challenge is to name the title and if possible the author.

The solver of each challenge posts the next one.

If not solved within a day, the poster can either 1) post a clue (each day until solved) or 2) give it up as unsolved and post the answer.

The book should be one we would consider "classic," ie, one we read in school, or is made as a movie, or both. Short stories and poems included.

The picture, although very nice, doesn't really show you the full scale of the church. To the right of the altar is a wall dedicated to Mary in an 'altar-type' fashion and there you can burn candles there. To the left of the altar is another wall devoted to Jesus himself in an altar-type fashion. It's a shame I don't have a video as it's a truly fascinating church! It's windows all tell a story, every last detail so minute and precise. Anyway, I hope you like! :)
