    PRAYER TO OUR LADY

O Mother of Mercy, Help of Christians,
most faithful minister of Divine Providence,
    treasurer of all graces,
remember that never in the world has it been heard
that thou hast left him without comfort
who has come to Thee with true devotion.
Wherefore, I, trusting in Thy tender pity
and in Thy most generous providence,
    bend low before Thee,
praying that Thou wouldst hear my prayer.

Obtain for me a holy provision for the future,
namely, graces for all my spiritual and temporal needs.
I fervently recommend to Thy loving motherly Heart our Holy Church,
    the Sovereign Pontiff,
    the conversion of sinners,
the spread of the Catholic faith
and those Souls chosen by Our Lord,
who are suffering the tormenting flames of Purgatory,
that they may soon be comforted with eternal refreshment.

    Amen.

Dee S, I'm happy to hear that your daughter's wedding went well!
However, I'm sorry to hear that you are ill. I pray that you will get better soon.
Thank you and James_OPL for your prayers.
    God Bless.

    OUR LADY OF INTERCESSION

MOST holy Mary, Our Lady of Intercession, whose maternal tenderness gathers in one embrace all the Souls redeemed by the Precious Blood of thy Son Jesus, we come before thy royal throne with sadness in our hearts as we remember those who have gone before us, but also with unlimited confidence in thine intercession. Death, which burst asunder the bonds of earth, has not destroyed the affection which binds us to those who lived in the same Faith as we do. O Mary, countless souls await with unutterable anxiety the assistance of our prayers, and the merits of our good works in that place of expiation. Urged by the charity of Jesus Christ, we raise our countenance and heart in supplication to thee, the compassionate Mother of all believers, in favor of those suffering Souls. Make our prayers of good effect, O Mary; obtain for them the power to move the Heart of Jesus our Redeemer through thy motherly intercession. Let thine incomparable holiness supply the defects of our misery, thy love make good our languid affection, thy power strengthen our weakness. grant, O Queen of Heaven, that the ardent desire of the Souls of the departed to be admitted to the Beatific Vision may soon be satisfied. We pray to thee, O Mother, especially for the Souls of our relations, of priests, of those who were zealous in honoring thee, of those who did good to the Souls of others, of those who wept with them and for them and finally, for the Souls of those who are forgotten.

Grant that one day, when we are all reunited in Heaven, we may be able to rejoice in the possession of God, in the happiness of thy dear presence, in the fellowship of Saints, thanking thee forever for all the blessings thou hast obtained for us, O Mother, who art our unfailing comfort. Amen.

Hail Mary three times, and once: Eternal rest give unto them. O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them; may they rest in peace. Amen.

Hi everyone, it's good to be back. The wedding was 'perfect' and we have many blessings to be grateful for.

As usual, you are not far from my thoughts and prayers, and were all remembered at the Nuptial Mass.

Will post another saint soon, just trying to get life back to normal this week. Feeling a little bit ill to0, but am on the mend.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY, ASSUMED IN HEAVEN

    Immaculate Virgin,
Mother of Jesus and our Mother,
we believe in Your triumphant assumption into heaven
where the angels and saints acclaim You as Queen.

We join them in praising You
and bless the Lord Who raised You above all creatures.
With them we offer You our devotion and love.

We are confident that You watch over our daily efforts and needs,
and we take comfort from the faith in the coming resurrection.

We look to You, our life,
    our sweetness, and our hope.
    After this earthly life,
    show us Jesus,
the blest fruit of Your womb,
    O kind, O loving,
    O sweet virgin Mary.

    Amen.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY BY SAINT BONAVENTURE

Blessed is the man who loves Thy name, O Mary.
Yes, truly blessed is he who loves Thy sweet name,
    O Mother of God!
Thy name is so glorious and admirable,
that no one who remembers it
has any fears at the hour of death.
    I ask Thee, O Mary,
for the glory of Thy name,
to come and meet my soul
when it is departing from this world,
and to take it in Thine arms.

    Amen.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY, COMFORTER OF THE AFFLICTED

    Immaculate Virgin Mary,
Mother of God and our most compassionate Mother,
we present ourselves in Thy sight in all humility,
    and with full confidence
we implore Thee for Thy maternal patronage.

Thou hast been proclaimed by Holy Church
    the Comforter of the Afflicted,
and to Thee constant recourse is had
by the sorrowful in their afflictions,
    the sick in their maladies,
    the dying in their agony,
the poor in their straitened circumstances,
those who stand in all manner of need
    in both public and private calamities;
and from Thee they all receive consolation and strength.

    Our dearest Mother,
    turn upon us also,
    wretched sinners that we are,
    Thy merciful eyes,
and graciously accept our humble and confident prayers.
Aid us in all our spiritual and temporal necessities,
    deliver us from all evil
    and especially from sin,
    which is the greatest evil,
    and from all danger of falling into it;
obtain for us from Thy Son Jesus
every blessing of which Thou seest we stand in need
    both in soul and body,
and especially the greatest blessing of all,
    which is Divine grace.
    Comfort our spirits,
troubled and afflicted in the midst of the many dangers that threaten us,
and the countless miseries and misfortunes that beset us on every side.
This we ask through that immense joy
    which filled Thy pure soul
in the glorious Resurrection of Thy Divine Son.

    Obtain tranquillity for Holy Church,
help and comfort for her visible Head,
    the Sovereign Pontiff,
    peace for Christian princes,
    refreshment in their pains for the Holy Souls in Purgatory;
for sinners, the forgiveness of their sins,
and for the just, perseverance in well-doing.
Receive us all, our most tender Mother,
under Thy loving and mighty protection,
that we may be enabled to live virtuously,
die holily and attain to everlasting happiness in Heaven.

    Amen.
