Devotion to the Sorrowful Mother

You are all such a blessing to me!

My husband is going with me, so we are over that hurdle. Now we need to make it through each day, or as I told him, just one hour at a time...sitting in on sessions like we will be doing will be very hard for him, but I know that through God's grace he will be able to do it.

We will leave early tomorrow morning...Sunday.

You are all in my thoughts a prayers.

Isbar - I'm so pleased things seem to be turning a corner for you and your family. I'll be praying for you all next week.

I too finished the Novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots yesterday and I too am feeling much lighter now

I am so happy for you!! It is a wonderful novena to our loving mother!! Sometimes I just pray it and ask that she undo what ever knots need to be undone!!! She is so wonderful, we are lucky to have her as our mother.

My dear people!

I have spent the last 24 hours watching Our Lady untangle the many knots that I have taken to her in prayer (Thank you so much, Queenstarfish, for the novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots. I finished it yesterday morning.) It is truly amazing to watch how she is doing this. She is doing it with such grace and thoroughness. I can feel her love and gentle hand working through all of this.

We are not home free by a long shot, however. Sunday is the first day of Family Week at my son's treatment facility. I am still praying that my husband will accompany me to this important phase of our son's treatment and recovery. At least today my husband was listening to me and asking questions about what to expect...I told he as much as I know at this point in time. My son called today and is also very nervous about Family Week, so if you would, please continue to pray for all of us. Of course my son's wife will be there as well. And my two sisters who live in this city where the treatment facility is, will be taking care of her baby. That will be such a blessing for all, especially since my sisters have been wanting to meet this little guy and get to know him.

Now I am rambling...I just wanted to let you all know that Our Dear Mother is very much at work in my life and as Footstool so aptly pointed out, that is the purpose of this forum...to let others know how Mother Mary works in our lives.

As an added note...I have come to a much deeper understanding of Mary and all that she does for us in our lives. I am not sure how to explain it, but I am so thankful for all of you, your faith and your prayers that are being answered as I write this.

Blessings to all! I am praying the Seven Sorrows tonight for all of your deepest intentions...the ones that perhaps even you do not yet recognize.

I will not have computer access after Sunday morning, so you may not hear from me again until Friday late.

Today I prayed the Seven Sorrow Rosary for the deepest needs, intentions and blessings for our group, that many more will come to compassionate our Blessed Mother's Sorrows and join our group, that I become a true and good daughter to Mary, for our youths, elderly and unbelievers, and for special intentions!

Welcome 'Lola Dolores' and explore the love this group demonstrates for our Blessed Mother, Her Sorrows and Her Joys and Her triumphs!!! And the beauty and reality of Her / Her life... is that She shares so willingly all of this with us? Wow!!! She is truly amazing!

Truly dear group I see/feel that this kind of conversation is focussing on the role that Mary is playing in each of our lives! I find it very encouraging and very necessary... it helps those in doubt, encourages the timid / tepid and flames the fire for the devoted. I also feel that these stages of faith fit each of us from time to time to different degrees. Would like to know your thoughts as well
