THE PRAYER MOTHER OF SWEETNESS

Mother of Sweetness,
the faith and love with which Thou giveth Thy Divine Son
urges me to open my heart to the love of Thy heart
so that the sweetness of Thy Mother's love may touch me deeply.
May the sweetness of Thy heart cause me
to share with others Thy love for Jesus.

When I meditate on the mysteries of Jesus Christ
in the most Holy Rosary,
ever-Virgin Mother Mary,
reveal to me the sweetness of Thine own Immaculate Heart.

Happy Mother's Day Blessed Mother of God!

Mary Mother of Compassion,
as the fifth sword of sorrow pierced your heart
at the bitter agony and death of your blessed Son,
let me stand by your side,
the close companion of your sorrow,
as you watch the final moments
of the savior of the world.
Mother of Sorrows,'
as we contemplate his five precious wounds
and the priceless blood of our redemption,
may we who meditate on your sufferings
reap the happy fruit of your Son's passion and death

A Thanksgiving Pray
Oh , God when I have food help me to remembber the hungry:
When I have work, help me to remember the jobless;
When I have warm home, help me to remember the homeless.
When I,am without pain,help me to remember those who suffer;
And remembering,help me to destroy my complacency and bestir my compassion.
Make me cocerned enought to help, by word and deed,those who cry out for what we take for granted. Amen

Blessed be the mind, the heart, the hand,
That drew this icon fair,
Of beauty unsurpassable, yet sweet,
God's Mother, rapt in prayer.
All pure Her face, Her hands, Her heart unseen,
Chaste, white rapture, as morning glow:
She ponders deep. Her sorrow shows,
She bears the weight of souls on earth below!
Awesome, yet so love-filled and so warm!
Immaculate! Her praise shall never cease,
In hearts that love and cherish Her; God's Mother!
Totus tuus! Mary's littlest ones,
in the valley of Saint Therese.

Compassionate Lady, Mother of God,
by the fourth sword of sorrow that pierced your heart,
you wept and wailed with the women of Jerusalem,
as you took his warning to heart:
"If they do this when the wood is green,
what will happen when it is dry?"
As you trailed the bloodstained streets of Jerusalem,
your breaking heart was martyred with his,
Mother and Son in agony together.
Lady of Mercy, let me stand by your side,
the close companion of your sorrow,
as your exhausted Son stumbled and fell again and again.
Increase our devotion to Jesus crucified
as we bear our own cross daily for his sake
and await in hope for the joy of his return in glory,
to judge the living and the dead.
