I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Dad in your early years as well. That is just heartbreaking. Yes, God is great to have brought us all together and we will have a grand time in the Kingdom!

Marla, sad to have lost your father so young. Glad you liked those words of Pope Benedict, and it brought you understanding, it so appealed to me too, as my dad ran out on us when I was a teenager and I remember it hurt like anything for a very long time after that. We're so lucky to be children of God and have each other here.....and lots of fun to look forward to together in the next life...
