God, I want to stand fast by Your principles and precepts. Ingrain Your Word in my heart so that I can recall the way You would want me to handle any situation in life. When I am under pressure, let me think of Your Word and Your promises to me. Help me to persevere.

The 4th is over, but our dear country, may she live on in victoy with Jesus forever! Amen.

Lord, I too am most grateful for this beautiful land I live in that You have created. I thank You for it so much.

Please help my neighbors not to litter our city. It hurts me so to see garbage tossed out and about as I walk around town. I often think of trying to help clean the city up, like walking around with a "picker-upper" and tossing stuff into a garbage bag, but I fear the property manager would be upset if I loaded our cans with it.

Please help me with this, Lord.

Lord God, make me a truer Catholic that I may be a truer citizen of this land You allow me to call home. What a privilege to live in this country! What a privilege to be Your child!

Amen. Yes, Father, please keep all those travelling on vacations this summer safe on the roads and highways of our great nation. Amen.

Our Father in heaven. We pray that you save us from ourselves. Help us to do Your will as it is done in heaven and to be worthy of Your promise of peace on earth. Fill us with new faith, new strength and new courage, that we may win the Battle for Peace. Be swift to save us, dear God, before the darkness falls.

Some part of her stands eternally at the cross, witnessing her Son so maimed and murdered by unjust men. Let us do what we ourselves can do, small and insignificant though it might be, to correct such wrongs in this country and also the world on her behalf.

We love you blessed virgin mother, sorrowful mother, holy mother of God; we pray to you that you intercede on our behalf, that we may help the helpless, those who suffer and even die through no fault of their own. Even in so small a way that no one may notice us. We pray in the Name of your blessed holy Son, Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit and The Father Himself. Amen.

May we always, Lord, remember that goodness, morality, and virtue only come from You. I pray that America will be a nation that upholds these principles and will once again fully protect the religious freedom of all citizens.

Father, I love you dearly. Please watch over me today and send a million angels to protect me if need be!

Help me to say all that You want me to, nothing that You don't want me to and please do the same with those that I speak with.

It is easy to take liberty for granted when you have never had it taken away from you.
For a long time Lord, I have relied on You. I desperately want to put You first in my life and keep You there. And just as I don't want to take for granted the freedoms I enjoy as an American, let me also never take You for granted. Keep me mindful that You are with me all the time. I give You praise and admiration today. Fill my heart with anticipation for tomorrow.
