This is a public group. Social Group

College bound students and parents

Group created by Corki

This group is to share information for Catholic students looking for their best college fit. Parents of high school students are especially invited to share their experiences looking for colleges and universities where our children's faith will continue to grow whether those colleges are Catholic or not. Current students and recent grads are also invited to share their experiences.

Hello! Have you seen where Fisher More College (formerly the College of Saint Thomas More) in Fort Worth, TX, is moving to next year (2013-14)? You can check out that and other cool news about the College here...

Hi, Our son is trying to decide between 2 colleges... first one is Ekcerd in St. Petersburg FL and the second is University of North Carolina Wilmington. We know that UNCW has a Newman Center... we are concerned that Eckerd does not... any info on Catholic like at either would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

19mybeth92: during the liturgy of the Eucharist, the wine becomes the blood of Jesus, so therefore during communion Catholics receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ=)...hope that helps!

Hello everyone, I have a grandmother who is of the Catholic religion and I am here to simply ask a question for my project in a class of mine. I really would like to know the roll of wine that plays in Eucharist. I would really like to find an answer on this and possibly get it back soon.
I'm sorry everyone you really don't know me, but I will say that I am a current college student and I am really excited about this. If someone could answer this question for me it would help me out a lot.
    Thank you!

Thanks for doing this. I know of other families that will want to check in as well. It occurs to me that it would be very helpful in terms of gathering information not only for decision making about where to go but also perhaps for the Catholic youngsters who go to a certain college, for they may already know of others in their same boat.
