The Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel

I completed my very first Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel yesterday. I hope to be able to say it daily as I sense I have not devoted nearly enough time in prayer. I didn't watch the clock but it only took me about ten minutes I suppose. I have it on my iphone so it is with me always.

I am sitting here staring at my screen... I believe that I have been the victim of a bad deception... I now believe I have been lied to... fed false hopes and empty promises... I pray to God this is not so... I have waited for over three years for something that I don't believe will happen...I am talking about my marriage ... or rather non-marriage... God ... I feel soo stupid... and angry at myself... I have allowed myself to be taken in by empty promises and false hopes and empty words of love and affection... and what is worse I allowed this person ( because I fell in love with him and as I thought ... he with me ) to become a spiritual distraction... I am at my wits end on this now... he has not logged on in over three days with no contact at all... I knew it would come to this... I had a bad feeling for some time... a long time in fact... i just didn't want to believe that he was the way my thoughts told me he was... he even duped my sister... she also believed in what he said ... I feel betrayed and used.... my heart is broken and my dreams have been killed... I offer this suffering and shame I have to Jesus and I ask for St michael's protection and help... I pray to St Michael but I am finding it difficult to pray good at this time... I am going to pray the Chaplet now... Satan entered my life through another person ( I am not saying this person is evil... but he is not honest. ) This is my appocolypse ... And I am asking St Michael to help me fight the fear and anxiety and feelings of hopelessness I have.

SilverCamellia, my sister is named Michelle and I believe that is the feminine version.

I gotta say, praying St. Michael's Chaplet daily really helps a lot. You get his whole army fighting with you to not fall into mortal sin. And the God who's whispering to you saying "DON'T GIVE IN FOR YOU ARE A DAUGHTER OF GOD!" Blessed be God!

I would like to ask for prayers for my Sis' parish Church which again has been descrated... I am going there tomorrow to say the Rosary and Chaplet of St Michael

I admire St Michael and would like him as my confirmation name (I am starting the RCIA program in September). I am female though: does this matter?

And how do I pray this chaplet? I only have rosary beads, do I need anything else? And what exactly am I supposed to say?

I just want to say that i will be going to Knock Shrine in Ireland in the near future and I will be praying for everyone here and I am going to offer a special Mass to St Michael for all of your intentions I am going to bring back Chaplets of St Michael too and try and spread the devotion
