Praying that the current health care reform bills do not pass. Why? Because they support abortion. Abortion is disgusting as all of us orthodox Catholics know and we need to work hard to make sure that abortion coverage is not included in the final health care reform bill.

The theology of dissent is the dominant one in America today and has infested many mainstream Catholic Universities. That being said it is no surprise that Notre Dame did this. The name Catholic is associated with Notre Dame but it's identity has long strayed away from the word.

To me it was just a typical attempt by dissenters to blur the line between being Catholic and being pro-choice. Unfortunately 60 plus percent of Catholics voted for Obama. According to Raymond Arroyo a source told him that half of Bishops did as well.
Although it may seems we are losing the battle we know the battle cannot be lost and the church will prevail.

Hello. Name her is Len. A couple of comments first: !) I wonder if "Fr." Jenkins remembers he's a Catholic priest. and 2) Barack
Obama, to me, seems to fit to a tee the description of the anti-Christ as described in the book of Revelation.

I have read all I could find about Obama's invitation to Notre Dame. I can not say I am any sort of Political expert, but I am interested in Politics, especially when it concerns my rights as a Catholic, and other Religions whether it be Jewish or Protestant.
Fr. Jenkin's, what in the world was he thinking? None of us can read his mind and as a Christian we can not claim to know his motives. However, we can see and judge the fruits of his actions.
Fr. Jenkin shows support of many horrible,anti- Catholic things by inviting Obama to Notre Dame. First off, abortion. Never was there a President so insistant on death of people, whether fetus or elderly. To me, it would be no honor as a student at Notre Dame to have the President there.
I have always assumed that Notre Dame was a top notch Catholic College. Not just a good college. But a Catholic College. Fr. Jenkin's obviously showed that he has different views then what the church teaches. And as the position he holds at that college he has the responsibility to represent Catholicism to the world. He has falled greatly and in my opinion should be fired.
