Prayer Warriors Needed To Pray For Addicts

Hello. Please say a prayer for my patience and for God's healing of my alcoholic husband. Two months ago he was very ill and the doctor told him to stop drinking or he'd be visiting with his widow next year. Well, he's back to drinking and I'm so afraid for him, for me, and for anyone struggling with an alcoholic spouse, family m ember or friend. PRAYER FOR THE ADDICTED

God of mercy, we bless You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who come to Him. Give Your strength to ( N. ), Your servant, bound by the chains of addiction. Enfold him / her in Your love and restore him /her to the freedom of God's children. Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and freedom. Restore to them the assurance of Your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery. To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I wish to share that since I have begun the Novena...Mary Undoer of Knots...and the Rosary...every night, there are so many blessings for my Daughter....Oh, How can I thank Thee My Lord for referring me to Your Mother...Lord, My God...You must have known that I needed this relationship with her, as I have never before experienced the awesome power of Our Blessed Mother. Update: My daughter is now going to Adrian, MI where she is to report (packed with clothing) for a 90 day program through Catholic Social Services....Praise to You My God....All thanks to you my Blessed Mother....Thank you, for favors and Graces given!!!

Recovery is a long road for the person recovering, and those that have been in the tangled mesh itself....may we all heal, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who through His Grace and Mercy, we have faith and within this lies our hope.
