Catholics with Chronic Pain

My name is Renee, I have fibromyalgia and Menieres Disease as well. The fibro is what I struggle with. I am so glad to find this group.

People tell me ...Kelly your heart's on fire for Christ...well, it is one burn I do not mind having and one fire I never want to be put out...I am a southern girl (ex Baptist who's proud as a peacock to be Catholic)and his love just sets me a flame.....Love and blessings to everyone

Just a reflection I had...

Yesterday I noticed a homeless man.....and I thought to my self...I get aggravated when Mc Donalds forgets to put my xtra pickles on or when the server at my restraunt is taking too long..or UPS delivered my package too late....or my favorite top at Khols is one size to big so I cannot purchase it.....just little stupid non important things I have on my mind from time to time.......I thought to m......yself,I wonder what is on this poor man's mind....where I am thinking I don't have xtra pickles ..he wondering where his next meal will come from.where I am wondering where's the server...he's wondering where the next person is that may take pity on him with some change.When I am sweating the arrival of my UPS package...he may be sweating if there is enough soup at his local soup kitchen...or a warm cot left at the local shelter or mission.Where I am worried about a clothing size....he is worried about having a warm coat for this winter.Allot of us are so blessed....Some of us that may not think of what all we do have(I am guilty at times)... Sometimes we just need to thank our loving Lord and count our blessings maybe ..........a little more than we do....God bless
