Mature Vocations

Not to worry, Truegrit. I had for ss # stolen. Found out when I went to file my taxes. The real world can be a problem, all the more reason for prayer. There are enough social workers in the world, what it needs is contemplatives for prayer. That is what will save the world and the Church.

I was hacked. The only site that was left untouched was my bank account...maybe it wasn't worth the effort!

Sunday is my day of rest...and I mean it literly. I go to mass and the rest of the day is a day of peace and reflection or whatever I have in mind, but usually rest. We all need "time out."

I popped into an older group that has become inactive due to a lack of interested viewer, I guess. It is a sited called "seeking religious woman." When people join a site I don't know what they may be looking for, but it is a shame to let the group becomae inactive. I decided to pop into it each day and try to add somethinng to it. Some may wish to visit it also.

Well, after a few efforts of trying to get back into the group do to some changes in the forum I finally succeded. Catholic Fireman, I guess you will be next to edit out. Not that I want to, but after all you are a guy. I will wait a couple days to see if you really want to stay 'though I don't know why you would. PAX

I have removed two members. They had been banned. I may remove more. If members are not serious about this site and only courious, they will also go in time.

Just in case some of you don't know or have forgotten, I once was a Sister, leaving in 1976. I think that most of those that left religious life in the great exodes after the Vat. 11 doc. came out, wish they were still where they once were. I have forgotten so much, yet the calling is still there. There are only about 66, 000 religious Sisters left in the US. The church needs support and growth. I think some of the support for the values needed by the church will need to come from older, mature women that have retained the strength of the church and are willing to serve God in various ways. Generaly I do not put personel info. in my profile, but could do so in or on a private basis. Just throwing this info. out there. Anyone can contact me through private messaging.

I am looking for letters or indcations of intent. They can be posted to "private messages." Otherwise I will delte those that have no real interest in religious life for mature woman. I may be the only one left in this group! But I do need to know. I will give a week or so and then start to edit.
