My Lenten promises are out the window now, but I resolve to pray daily more Rosaries for PEACE:

Face it, were just "all bad!" Lol!
We got 3 to 4 inches snow last night, beautiful & I love it but like most am ready for spring, oh and don't forget to put your clocks forward one hour this Saturday so you will be on time for church!, I go on Saturday's though so no problem, heehe.

Haha that is so true. x) Giving up on twitter was kinda hard but I totally cut it off so now there's no temptation! But geez, fb haha sometimes temptation comes back-! :P

Hi Chloe and Mary and everyone - well, 3Docs here has to spend some time "rebooting" her Lenten practices!

I'm keeping Facebook for now because it's a good way to get feeds regarding Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and the Conclave from the several Catholic sources I've "liked."

So now I need to find a new penance or practice to switch to. One thing is I'm going to continue Bible reading. I had just begun the book of Exodus so I'll continue with that. I want to read straight through the Bible which I have attempted before but not completed.

Maybe for a "give up" I'll give up unnecessary shopping . . . that would be hard. It's like you said, Chloe - sometimes it's harder to give up something we don't go "cold turkey" on. Have a blessed day, everyone! 3DOCS

Well, I completely gave up on twitter, but not fb
I told myself I will use fb only on weekends so I didn't deactivate it. And guess what? Temptation is even greater because I'm limiting myself, not completely restraining from it. But every weekend, I've found myself barely using it. Haha I honestly think it's a good way to give up something for Lent!
Hahah sure, I can't wait for Easter!

Poor Chloe-I know but Facebook really is just the same ol same ol, if you think of it that way, and time will go quickly! Heehe

And then I can have my chocolate again~!
