Catholic Moms, Large Families....

Hi I am a mother of soon to be five. My oldest is 6 rs old and my youngest is 12 mo old. I am due in march with number 5. I stay home with my children and I'm also looking for some catholic friends, look forward to chatting And meeting those who love God as much as I do.

Hey Ladies! Potty Training Question--Is my son ready?

..He hides to poop in his diaper & after he does he comes straight to me so I can change it.
..he seems so fascinated with the toilet
...he tries to take his diaper off (while peeing lol)

He is only 16months old & I thin it's still early, but the signs are there right?

Well, tomorrow is May day & soon all of the family will be in town for Memorial Day, back again for July 4th, etc. etc. This is when a big family brings so much joy into my life & my husband's. He has his faults, as I have mine.......but, I've never seen a man who was a better Grandfather, than my husband.

Our 4 children, their spouses & 10 Grandchildren will be visiting periodically all summer. We live on 13 acres, so there will be baseball games & fishing during the days & bonfires, wiener roasts, fish frys & card games in the evening.

It will be crazy, but crazy GOOD!! Everybody pitches in & helps. Our oldest Granddaughter started at the University this year & I haven't seen her since Christmas, so I'm really anxious to hear all about her first year.

Hello moms! I just joined the group. I have one child (2 yr old) and desire a large family. My husband and I do not come from big families (he has two siblings, I have one) but we really love kids and being parents.

Hi everyone. I'm a catholic mom of 4 chillins (13, 11, 9, 7)....I desperate need of mom friends with lots of kids too...i work full time, my husband works full time in another state...our parish lacks young mothers who go to church

I hear you SBurger15, I was born Catholic and my husband was Baptist. He got it long before I did and I am from a family of six and he only has 1 sibling. I didn't actually open up to the Church's teaching until I had my 3rd, and even then it was by accident. Now, I feel as if I need to make up for lost time. Does any one else know what I am saying? Meaning, was this a journey in a change of thinking or were most of you already on this track due to your upbringing?
