Holy War, you won't believe how little it matters how popular you were in high school once you've graduated. Just be true to yourself. Rumors don't define who you are, but they sure say a lot about the ones that spread them.
It's a lot easier to be liked by your peers for a few years than to be genuinely respected by people of more than one generation. And you're liked AND respected. But I can't help you in math; I'm awful! So what are you gonna be when you finish school? (IF you don't mind telling.)

Hey everybody. Anyway, lately I've been a little depressed for some reasons which I won't go into publicly. School started again, and I'm already doing not so good in math. I'm not very good at math, and it's mostly my old teacher's fault so I'm very frustrated. And then on top of that lots of old rumors about me from my old school are going around again. I've been trying to remember that they're the ones that are wrong, not me. The only thing that gets me through the day is the thought of what I'm gonna' be when I finish school. Anyway, that's my life.

Hey guys I know I said id be back on and I stayed off a while, but thats because I've been questioning some things. I still want to be Catholic, in fact, it feels like I've been sort of...re-emersed (incorrect spelling). Ill explain later. I'm gonna be on tomorow and I'll explain a good bit.

beth40n2, try www.masstimes.org. Type in your zip code and you can find many different parishes in your area and the Mass times. This site is particularly good when you are traveling to find a church near you.

We do care about you Holy War, and we missed you.

I need some prayer. My son is getting married August 11th. I am the only Catholic in my family. The wedding is a Saturday at 4:30pm, so that keeps me from mass. Sunday morning the brides family wants us to go to their church (Reformed) I need to find a mass that I can get to and still make to to their church. The small town we are in does not have mass that weekend, that priest is in another town every other week. I amy be driving 30-60 minutes to find a mass.

Well guys I'm back! I've been a stranger lately, probably not a good thing, but im back on now, I'll probably be on like ALL the time again!

Parce Domine- When I read that I was very happy, it feels good to be respected. Thanks for asking about me while I was away. It's good to know I've got people who care about me.

Thank you, White Peony! Yes, I was concerned. Thank you so much for letting us know he is well. Please let him know we miss him and wish only the best for him.

If you contact him again, please send the message that the Colonel and Major miss him and spoke very highly of him. It was clear from our conversation that they have a lot of respect for him. I think he would appreciate knowing that.

I've noticed some of you were worried about our dear friend, Holy War 11. He emailed me a while back, telling me not to worry because he was taking a break from CAF. So, no worries! He is well!

Chrissy and herewegokids embrace the Holy ornamentals and adoration benediction daily mass rosary and anything else that you can as well as devotion to the saints. Just do what you can.

herewegokids7- I can completely understand your predicament. I was raised Catholic, but wasn't practicing for years. My husband is a non-practicing Baptist. We started to look for a church home and I was called home to the Catholic Church. My husband will not let our two children (4 and almost 2) be raised Catholic, and feels like I have basically reneged as this wasn't important to me then. I'm treated as if this is a decision I made that made life harder for him- I don't know how he can't see how hard its made things for me knowing my children won't be of the same faith and that I've been asked not to make the sign of the cross in front of them?!! He has no desire to learn about the faith or hear my reasons, I feel persecuted in my own home. I will pray for your family as I'm praying for mine.

PS You should check out www.greenscapular.org, for a little bit of peace and hope.
