Creative Writing Workshop
This is a Creative Writing Workshop. I hope a real one. It's goal is to bring CAF writers together for fellowship, brainstorming, interactions and reactions to each other's writing and constructive criticism which often feels like a punch in the stomach, but in the end helps one grow as a writer. It's a public group but to protect the creative process I decided that "users must join to view the content." I am Nom the Wise, and offline I am a poet and blossoming novel writer. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Writing as well as a BA in English, concentration Creative Writing. I am published but not famous. If I told you my real name you would not have heard of me, so don't be impressed. All Forum rules still apply of course, but I intend to give honest from-the-gut reactions and suggestions. I intend to post general threads like "Poetry," "Short Fiction," "Novel Writing (excerpts?)" and perhaps "Creative Non-Fiction" but we can work that out together. I have taught writing on the college level, and you would do well to know what I know. I offer my poetic soul for free. Not everyone agrees with my assessments, which is why I hope writers of all walks and styles will join me in this group, to bring the spirit of crucifixion and resurrection to all those that wish their writing to be saved, which is the heart and soul of the Catholic way.
