The Bleacher Report has the Cubs and Indians both at 60:1 odds for winning the World Series. On the other hand, the Tigers and Phillies are each listed as 6:1 favorites to win the Series. Interestingly, they have the Angels, Yankees and Rangers hanging close to the Tigers in the AL, but nobody rivals the Phillies in the NL. I think the Bleacher Report is off in a few instances, i.e., the Nationals at 25:1. I think the Nats pitching staff raises their odds considerably higher. Pity the poor Astros with odds of their winning the Series calculated at 300:1!

Hi everyone-I enjoy baseball myself. I used to go to the Toledo Mud Hens games when I was a teenager, than here in Charleston-went to the River Dogs games-really keeps me pumped-up. My 9-yr-old daughter plays co-ed baseball, and went I went to Japan last summer with my reserve unit, they are nuts about the sport. Here it is football. Anyways, it is so awesome watching and seeing how well or poorly these members play. My favorite baseball team is both the Atlanta Braves and the Cleveland Indians-lol. I used to pull for Detroit Tigers years ago.

The only ball I got was a foul ball in a spring training game. Had to fight an elderly lady for it.

The problem with a Cleveland-Cubs WS is that one of them would have to lose, and the agony is prolonged. I see a Yanks/Cards Series. Hey, both teams know the parade routes.

3Docs, my preseason picks were Cleveland (Yeah yeah I know I sometimes can be an eternal optimist when it comes to baseball) with Detroit not quite living up to expectations but a wildcard, and KC top 3 in the AL Central. So I had Royals movin up at least.

Neat that you have the ball. I have a couple autographed balls. Chris Chambliss and Carlos Baerga. Not quite Rapid Robert but were decent players for us. Chambliss won AL Rookie of the Yr for us and later went on to play for the Yankees.

And I'm all in for a Cleveland - Cubs WS. 2 teams gone the longest without a WS title.
