We need to get at the MEAT of
    the word, Catholics are still
    being SPOON-FED by the
    Liturgy, and not feeding them-
    selves!

I ,am glad that people read the Bible when they can. Many those that do be strenght by the words of God,and for those that don,t read the Bible, may the Holy Spirit touch your hearts to want to pick it up and read it.

    Hello, johnthebaptist, I have a
    brother named John.
Yes, I read the Bible before I
pray, and I find that it gives me
    FOCUS in my prayers!

jopap > when we were going to school,we had to listen to the teacher, which is a form of displine,or our parents,so why is it so hard for us to take time to read the Biblewhen we have time to do other things in our lives.

I beleive, that people can fine time to read the Bible, instead of a newpaper, carry a Bible around in the car,in your brifcast, so that when you sit down on a bench, take it out,and read a little. It will bring you closer to God words,or even at home, instead of T V,pull the Bible from your bookcase, and read it,you well

I read but not near as much as I should. Good intentions just not always the best on follow through...spend time on here and study the catechism. Perpetual Mass attendee but haven't completed RCIA.
