RUN for the Lord!!

Long time no talk! Wow, congrats mab23 Hey stephe1987, this is a little late but if you still need tips, here's a few:

Pace yourself. If you can't have a conversation while you run, you're going too fast.

Increase you're distance, probably a quarter mile more each week.

DRINK.

yes Stephe1987 , start light, commit to some 5k's and maybe join a group ( even if your just walking ) walk for miles, or just get on a consistent schedule , as you progress, you can change or increase the intensity or length of your walks / jogs, then work your way up

I am not a runner yet, but I would like to start running soon. I would like to lose weight (20-40 lbs.) and improve my overall health. Any tips for beginners?

50k is longer than a marathon!

Completed the 5K 30:27 My best time so far.... not a very good run today though, oh well.
