To Jesus through Mary

Visit the forum of this group.
Group created by De_Montfort

This is a group for those who wish to go to Christ through his loving Mother. It follows the spirtuality of St. Louis de Montfort and St. Maximilian Kolbe."They will see clearly that she is the safest, easiest, shortest and most perfect way of approaching Jesus and will surrender themselves to her, body and soul, without reserve in order to belong entirely to Jesus."

"Now of all God's creatures Mary is the most conformed to Jesus. It therefore follows that, of all devotions, devotion to her makes for the most effective consecration and conformity to him. The more one is consecrated to Mary the more one is consecrated to Jesus. That is why perfect consecration to Jesus is but a perfect and complete consecration of oneself to the Blessed Virgin."
(St. Louis de Montfort)

"Mary was created only for God, and it is unthinkable that she should reserve even one soul for herself. On the contrary she leads every soul striaght to God and to union with him. Mary is the wonderful echo of God. The more a person joins himself to her, the more effectively she unites him to God. When we say 'Mary' she re-echoes 'God". When, like St. Elizabeth, we call her blessed, she gives the honor to God."
(St. Louis de Montfort)

"Let us not imagine, then as some misguided teachers do, that Mary being simply a creature would be a hindarnce to a union with the Creator. Far from it, for it is no longer Mary who lives but Jesus Christ himself, God alone, who lives in her. Her transformation into God far surpasses that experienced by St. Paul and other saints, more than heaven surpasses the earth."
(St. Louis de Montfort)

"But whatever gifts this sovereign and lovable Queen bestows upon us, she is not satisfied until she has given us incarnate Wisdom, Jesus her Son; and she is ever on the look out for those who are worthy of Wisdom, so that she may give him to them."
(St. Louis de Montfort)

"Mary presents our good works to Jesus. She does not keep anything we offer for herself, as if she were our last end, but unfailingly gives everything to Jesus. So by the very fact we give anything to her, we are giving it to Jesus. Whenever we praise and glorify her, she immediately praises and glorifies Jesus. When anyone praises and blesses her, she sings today as she did on the day Elizabeth praised her, 'My soul glorifies the Lord.'"
(St. Louis de Montfort)

"Mary scarcely appeared in the first coming of Jesus Christ. Because she kept herself hidden in this world and in her great humility considered herself lower than dust. But in the second coming of Jesus Christ, Mary must be known and openly revealed by the Holy Spirit so that Jesus may be known, loved and served through her. The reasons which moved the Holy Spirit to hide his spouse during her life and reveal but little of her since the first preaching of the gospel exist no longer. God wishes therefore to reveal Mary, his masterpiece, and make her more known in these latter times."
(St. Louis de Montfort)

"The Mother of God cannot lead us anywhere except to the Lord Jesus."
(St. Maximilian Kolbe)

"Jesus was the first to honor her as His very Mother and we must imitate Him also in this. We will never, as much as we try, love Her with a love equal to that which Jesus loves her."
(St. Maximilian Kolbe)

"Do you forget that not only does Jesus reside and dwell perpetually in Mary's heart, but that He is in truth the heart of her heart and the soul of her soul; and that therefore coming to the heart of Mary means to honor Jesus and to invoke her heart is to invoke Jesus?"
(St. John Eudes)

    Hail Mary full of grace "the Lord is with Thee, in a nobler and more intimate way than he is with the saints and the just, because thou art one with Him, He is thy Son and his Flesh is thy Flesh; thou art united to the Lord because of thy perfect likeness to him and by your mutal love, for thou art his Mother"

    ACCLAMATIONS IN PRAISE OF MARY
    (By Saint Alphonsus Liguori.)

    O most sacred Virgin Mary,
    O Queen of Angels, how beautiful,
    accomplished, and perfect, has Heaven made Thee!
    O that I could appear to God as Thou appearest to me.
    Thou art so beautiful and gracious
    that with Thy beauty Thou ravishest hearts.
    When Thou art seen, everything appears deformed,
    all beauty is eclipsed,
    every grace is lost sight of;
    as the stars disappear at the rising of the sun.

    Amen.

    THE PRAYER A SALUTATION TO THE IMMACULATE.
    (For the 150th Anniversary
    of the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception)

    O Immaculate Virgin Mary,
    Mother of God and Our Mother:
    Queen of Heaven and Earth,
    Mediatrix of every grace!
    Thou through Whom dost shine the whole splendor
    and magnificence of the Trinity!
    O Fount of Light!
    O Light of all lights!
    O shining Brightness of the Eternal Light!
    O spotless Mirror of the Divine Majesty!
    O Window upon the Divine Nature!
    O Portal opening unto Eternity!
    O blessed Gate of Heaven!
    O Doorway thru which has shone the Light of men!
    O Door of the Most High King!
    O Horizon out of which is arisen the Sun of Justice!
    O Promontory above the Ocean of Divinity!
    O Watchtower before the blazing Majesty of God!
    O Star of the Sea!
    O Star of Heaven, Who alone has crushed all the Stars
    fallen from Heaven!
    O Morning Star, Who has merited to usurp the name of the first fallen Star!
    Thou Who dost now gaze upon the wondrous abundance of the Divine Vision,
    as the One closer to the Face of God than all creatures!
    Rejoice O Thou, Who has borne the Clarity of the Eternal Light!
    Rejoice, O glorious and mystical City of God!
    Rejoice, O Thou, Who art more glorious than the Sun,
    more beautiful than the Moon,
    Who dost shine more golden than the dawn,
    more brightly than the stars.
    Rejoice O Mother of the Lamb, the Light of the City of
    God, Who has made Thee shine forever with His own incomparable Light!
    Rejoice, O Immaculate Virgin,
    Who dost hold the Light of God in the palms of Thy hands,
    Who dost behold the Child Jesus,
    the Eternal Light,
    in wondrous glory for all eternity!
    Rejoice O Most Blessed Virgin,
    for it is through Thee that all the Angels of Heaven
    and all the Choirs of the Elect
    art enlightened and filled with the Incomparable Radiance!

    O Immaculate Mother,
    lead us to Heaven,
    inflame us with the Divine Love,
    let shine upon us that same light of glory
    which Thou dost behold forever!
    Let us see What Thou dost see and gaze upon Him in Trinity,
    that we may share the fullness of Thy Heart’s joy forever!
    Let it be!
    Let it be!

    Amen.

    A PRAYER OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION WITH MARY

    O Immaculate Queen of Heaven and Earth,
    Mother of God and Mediatrix of every grace:
    I believe that Thy dearly beloved Son,
    Our Lord Jesus Christ,
    is truly, really, and substantially
    contained in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

    I love Him above all things
    and I long to receive Him into my heart.
    Since I cannot now receive Him sacramentally,
    be so good as to place Him spiritually in my soul.

    (moment of silence)

    O my Jesus,
    I embrace Thee as One Who has already come,
    and I unite myself entirely to Thee:
    never permit me to be separated from Thee.

    Amen.

    PRAYER TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

    O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
    Heavenly beauty and splendor of the Father,
    You are the most valued Heavenly treasure.

    New Eve, immaculate in soul, spirit and body,
    Created of the godly seed by the Spirit of God,
    You are the spiritual Mother of mankind.

    Pure Virgin, full of grace then and now,
    Your whole being was raised Heavenly in full glory,
    To be elevated above all the hosts within the Kingdom of God.

    O Heavenly Mother, Queen of Heaven and earth,
    I recognize the glory of Your highest title,
    The Immaculate Heart of Mary!

    Loving Mother, dispenser of endless blessings,
    You Who continuously intercedes on our behalf,
    Please present my need before Your loving Son Jesus.

    (In your own words, make your special request here. Do not just mention a word. Speak to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as you would speak to another person, begging your Heavenly Mother to plea to Jesus on your behalf, that you be granted this special request.)

    O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
    I know that You are now presenting my need before Jesus,
    For You have never turned away those in dire need.

    Mother dearest, I await Your favorable answer,
    Submitting myself to the Divine will of the Lord,
    For all glories are His forever and ever.

    Amen.

    PRAYER OF ACCLAMATIONS TO MARY

    O gracious and beautiful Heaven,
    more vast than the heavens themselves,
    for they cannot contain God,
    Who is immense, but He concealed Himself in Thy womb;
    O richest of all treasures,
    in which was deposited the treasure of our redemption;
    O Mother of sinners,
    under Whose mantle we are defended;
    O consolation of the world,
    in which all who are afflicted, infirm, and disconsolate,
    find consolation;
    O beautiful eyes, which steal hearts;
    O coral lips, which imprison souls;
    O generous hands, filled with lilies,
    and which always distribute graces;
    O pure creature. Who appearest a God,
    and Whom I should have taken for a God,
    had not faith taught me that Thou art not so,
    although Thou hast a splendor,
    and I know not what of Divine sovereignty;
    O great Lady, empress of Heaven,
    enjoy for a thousand eternities the greatness of Thy state,
    the immensity of Thy greatness,
    and the happiness of Thy glory,
    We only beseech Thee,
    O compassionate Mother, not to forget us,
    who glory in being Thy servants and children,
    And since in Thee are deposited all graces,
    and the best and most privileged of all created things,
    grant, O Lady, that we,
    Thy devout children,
    may be favored more beyond comparison
    than are all other men on earth,
    The whole world should know that the dear children of Mary
    are the best of Heaven and earth:
    they are the spoilt children,
    who enjoy all the choicest possessions of their Mother;
    they are the beloved Benjamins,
    who, being caressed in the bosom of the Queen of Heaven,
    are doubly favored
    and doubly caressed by the Majesty of God,
    This I hope, O most beautiful Rachel;
    and this I am confident that Thou wilt do,
    O sovereign Princess,
    in the name of what Thou art, do it;
    for all Heaven prostrate at Thy feet beseeches Thee,
    and with importunity asks it of Thee.
    Say only yes, pronounce only a loving consent;
    be it done, be it done, fiat, fiat!

    O men, of what are you thinking?
    How can you love earthly, deceitful, and lying creatures,
    which betray you and cause you to lose your souls,
    your bodies, Paradise, and God!
    And why do you not love the most loving,
    the most amiable,
    the most faithful Mary, who,
    after having enriched you with consolations and graces in this life,
    will obtain you from Her Divine beloved Son
    the eternal glory of Paradise?

    O Mary, Mary more beautiful than all creatures,
    lovely after Jesus above all loves,
    more dear than all created things,
    gracious above every grace,
    pity this miserable heart of mine;
    miserable because it does not love Thee;
    and it ought to love Thee.
    Thou canst inflame it with Thy holy love.
    Turn, O Mary, Thy loving eyes upon me;
    look at me, and draw me to Thee;
    and grant that after God I may love no other but Thee,
    most gracious, most amiable Mary,
    Mother of Jesus,
    and my Mother.

    Amen.

    O Full Of Grace
    (PRAYER OF POPE PIUS XII)

    O Mary, "full of grace and blessed among women,"
    stretch out the hand of Your motherly protection,
    we ask You, upon us who gather round
    Your queenly throne as Your handmaidens,
    obedient to Your command
    and resolved with Your help
    to bring to realization in ourselves and our sisters
    the ideals of truth and Christian perfection.

    Our eyes are fixed on You in admiration, immaculate Virgin;
    You who are loved by the Heavenly Father above all others!
    O Virgin Spouse of the Holy Spirit!
    Tender Mother of Jesus!
    Obtain for us from Your Divine Son
    the grace to reflect Your sublime virtues in our conduct,
    according to our age and condition of life.

    Grant that we may be spotless and pure
    in our thoughts and in our behavior;
    gentle, affectionate,
    and sympathetic companions to our husbands;
    to our children solicitous,
    vigilant and wise mothers;
    prudent administrators of our homes;
    exemplary citizens of our dear country;
    faithful daughters of the Church,
    ever ready to allow ourselves to be guided
    by her in thought and deed.

    Help us, loving Mother,
    to be truly devoted to the duties of our state of life;
    help us make our homes true centers
    of spiritual life and active charity,
    schools where consciences will be rightly formed,
    gardens where every virtue will flourish.
    Give us Your help that in social and political life
    we may be patterns of deep faith,
    of consistent and gracious Christian practice,
    of incorruptible integrity,
    and of well-balance judgment
    based upon the solid principles of religion.

    Bless these our resolutions
    which You have inspired us to make
    and the trials You have helped us to bear;
    may we with Your aid come to see
    their abundant fruits in time and in eternity.

    Amen.

    THE PRAYER, "O BLESSED VIRGIN",
    (By Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.)

    O Blessed Virgin, grant that we may come to Thy Son through Thee,
    Who hast found grace, engendered life,
    and art the Mother of salvation.
    Grant that He may receive us through Thee,
    He to Whom we were given through Thee.
    May Thy wholesomeness excuse our corruption before Him;
    may Thy humility, so agreeable to God,
    obtain pardon for our vanity;
    may the abundance of Thy charity cover the multitude of our sins;
    and may Thy glorious fruitfulness,
    cause in us the fruitfulness of merit.

    Oh, our Sovereign Lady, our Mediatrix, our Advocate:
    reconcile us with Thy Son;
    recommend us to Thy Son;
    present us to Thy Son!

    O Blessed Virgin,
    through the grace which Thou hast found before God,
    through the favor which Thou didst merit,
    through the mercy which He hast granted Thee,
    grant that He, Who,
    through Thee deigned to partake of our infirmity and misery,
    may make us, through Thee,
    share in His glory and beatitude:
    Jesus Christ, Thy Son and Our Lord,
    Who is above all,
    God blessed forever and ever.

    O Maria, transform my heart unto Thine.
    Place around it a wreath of purity,
    adorned in virtue.

    Take my heart, dear Mother,
    consecrated as Your own.
    Present it to God the Father
    as an offering from me to You.

    Help me O Maria in each day
    to make Your heart more known.

    Amen.
