Group created by mymamamary

This group is for those who are devoted to serving, consoling and offering reparation to the MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS. We pierce the Heart of JESUS each time we sin. The world offends Our LORDS Heart in unthinkable and countless ways. The Sacred Heart is the romance between GOD and man, so for all of you Catholics, who are romantically minded, This is a devotion you cant miss out on. The LORD is the best lover there is, HE loves us all so much. Ladies, when men want to win your heart for life, they propose on a knee, Our LORD wants to win all our hearts, for eternity, HE proposes on the Cross, literally, every wound on HIS BODY, Every beat of HIS HEART is a infinite sign of HIS LOVE FOR US!!

Hey!! Nice to see you both
The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the most precious part of Jesus. It is where his unconditional love for humanity comes from and it is also where we see how he suffered for us in becoming human.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us
Sacred Heart of Jesus, make my heart like unto thine

    Praying for our fallen world

O Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy
O sacred Heart of Jesus hear our prayers
Lord Jesus graciously grant us peace

Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
give us this day our daily bread
    and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation
    but deliver us from evil
    Amen

Hi all, hi mymamamary hope all is well for you and all other members. I want to share this - http://www.rc.net/org/therese/
I did it on sept 11. It's the Act of Oblation to the merciful love of God by St Therese. It makes you a "victim" of Gods love meaning you never reject Gods love and you become a vessel for his love. It's wonderful I have grown more loving towards others since doing it. I highly recommend.

Mankind lives under the tyranny of sin and satan. I feel that in this coming election, America, no matter who She votes in, unless the Moral landscape is changed first, and unless She bars homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, pornography etc, She will never recover economically as well. The reason I say this is because I feel that the economic landscape reflects the moral landscape. If the Moral life of the country is bad, so is the economy. Something I've observed!!

    COR JESU SACRATISSIMUM, Miserere Nobis!!

Yeah, that happens to me too. I will ask them What? and they will repeat it and it is totally different than what I thought I heard.

    Hi all
Yes that article really opens your eyes to how you live. We can have so much more value in our lives if we live in the present moment. Aleema- I hope you enjoy it too
About goals, yeah, I think it's good to have some hopes and dreams, the important thing to realize is that you can still be happy in the present moment too
Will keep Fr J in prayer. Yeah about not hearing people I am sometimes the same, usually I'll hear something they didn't say and I'll repeat it back and they look at me funny ... Hehe..

Thank you very much for that link. Really made me realise some more of my faults.

It is okay to have high hopes, as long as they encourage you to work harder to obtain the desired goal. But it also must not make you upset when you do not achieve the goal you desire. Just realise things come in steps, just as becoming a Saint is in steps. I had to realise that recently. I once read from someone that every Saint was once not a Saint (except the Blessed Virgin Mary I guess). And always have your hopes conform with the Will of God.

Fr. J. seemed okay at Mass yesterday but my mom said that he still doesn't seem right or something (she must be using her motherly instincts ) so please keep praying for him. He shook my hand when he was leaving Mass and he told me something but I can't make it out even now. It may have been a thank you, may have been that he received my e-mail (I e-mailed him) or something else. I am not good at listening to people, it is like their words are hard to understand or something... Plus the song happened to be loud so that didn't help!

I hope everyone is doing well.
