A group for Married couples without children in the home. This includes those who have not yet had children, those who are unable to have children, and those whose children have left the home. ktripp1, I have found an online course that is helpful! I'll put the link here for you. It includes a free NFP charts for your monthly information. I don't know if it is a sanctioned site, but I do like the charts! http://nfpandmore.org/

My husband and I are newly married it will be one year in August. We started out our marriage using contraceptives for the first 7-8 months or so of our marriage. He wanted to use NFP but I was new to the faith and though it was silly but now I have started to grow in my faith and become more educated on the subject of contraceptives I see how dumb I was both my husband and I want to make the change to NFP. However this has been very difficult we have been going through a time of abstinence untill we can start using NFP. We live in the Portland Oregon area and are having a very hard time finding any classes the only place that seems to have classes are the couple to couple league and the natural family services. No churches in the area offer the classes. Both of these organizations do not start classes till September. After September its three classes spaced out over the time period of three months. Now we are looking into the self taught classes through online and with the use of a book. I have not been able to find anyone to talk to about this in order to get advice and help. Can anyone give me some advice as to what I can do.

    HI everyone,

I don't know if anyone listens to a program called Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo on EWTN Radio. It's on Monday through Friday 9am-10am (eastern standard time), but it's really AWESOME!!! Teresa is really pro-life to the MAX . Every Wednesday she has Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life & every Friday, she has Janet Morana, Exective Director of Priests for Life. Plus she has many more well known pro-life people, as well as FAITHFUL well known & sometimes not so well known Catholic personalities.

Teresa's in my "neck of the woods" - the state of Michigan; in particular Ann Arbor, which is a suburb of Detroit . The radio station is Ave Maria Radio Station. So actually it runs from 8am-10am.

If you're interested in checking it out Ave Maria Radio's website is:

    www.avemaria.net

Everyone have a beautiful & blessed weekend!!!

    Blessings,

    Kim

Hi, my name is Kim and I have been married to a wonderful man by the name of Vince (Vincent) for almost 12 years (in May) now. We do not have any children. We do not & never have during our marriage used contraception. We've always left it in our Heavenly Father's hands. I feel called to motherhood to both biological and adopted children. I pray to St. Gerard Majella who's the patron saint of mothers, motherhood & children. Writing about children I wanted to mention about a wonderful CATHOLIC & PRO-LIFE primary care physician by the name of Dr. Stephen Bishop, who's been my doctor for 5 years. He even prays with me. Dr. Bishop also is an OB/GYN (delivers babies). So, if anyone lives in SE Michigan & are in need of wonderful, as well as compassionate CATHOLIC & PRO-LIFE physicians both Dr. Bishop & his medical partner, Dr. Jeffrey Berger are top notch. Their practice is called Sacred Heart Medical Centre in Livonia, Michigan.

Sacred Heart Medical Centre's website is:

    www.sacredheartmedical.org

Everyone have a wonderful & blessed day! God bless!!!

I have been married to my husband for 30 years. We have four beautiful children and five grandchildren. Throughout these years, I've asked my husband to marry me in the Catholic Church and he has continually refus by making excuses. I know he loves me and obviously has been willing to commit to our marriage. We are both 50 and I share this with you to ask for prayer on the conversion of my husband's heart and my reconciliation to God.

To those Prayer Warriors (and not just in title) who have offerred up your faith and counsel: The lords voice has started to ring out across the Holy Lands to reach my wifes ears. The first step has happened. She has put the divorce on hold until she returns from Iraq and has a chance to face the relationship in person. Please continue to pary that she seeks out God's counsel between now and then. Please pray for me, that I may maintain the strength necessary to endure the heartache and pain of being "unwanted" by the one of my Earthly love. I have recently started praying the Rosary but have some difficulty with the words still while trying to meditate (I'm still learning the order). I have seen the wonder of the Holy Spirit reach her and change her mind, ever so slightly, but it reflects "hope". Now, if we can stay in the "faith", I believe that we will find "love" again. Please keep praying as I do not desire to be a family of one.
