    dr_john_celes - Thank you for sharing such a beautiful message with us!!! There is one more thing I have to tell you about your blood donation poem. When it says "Watch life return From the dead!" it reminds me of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead and that just by our donating a little of our blood we can be a part of Jesus's saving and healing power!

    I love your poem about God's Qualities because I love poems that praise our awesome God!

    thank you Don, flowerlady, holy will and all others in Christ Jesus who read and spend their precious time in commenting so well, praying for one another and saying consoling words in times of distress to the next. Yeah, this sure is 'love of God and of neighbour aw well' as Jesus put the ten commandments in a nutshell. Keep doing this great work of charity, love and faith. God will surely bless each one of you in the days to come and the nation too.
    with love and regards to all in Christ,

    God’s Qualities
    God’s face is one most beautiful;
    God’s hand is truly powerful;
    God’s eyes are ones always watchful;
    God’s love is ever bountiful .

    God’s heart is kind and merciful;
    God’s mind is unfathomable;
    God’s wisdom, indiscernible;
    God’s ways are unpredictable.

    God’s deeds are righteous and truthful;
    God’s ears are forever heedful;
    God’s blessings are so plentiful;
    God’s rod is fair but too frightful!

    On Blood-donation

    Bleed a little;
    Bleed a while;
    Bleed for someone;
    Give him Life!

    Blood is precious;
    Blood is Life!
    Give your blood
    To save a life.

    Some blood lost when
    From blood-stream;
    Saves a life fast,
    Like in a dream.

    Give your blood then,
    To patients;
    Give them life back,
    Almost gone.

    Blood-giving
    Is sacrifice;
    Life’s most sublime
    Exercise!

    Give the man pale,
    Your blood red;
    Watch life return
    From the dead!

    Make blood sharing
    Your life’s prime aim;
    Get replenished
    Whence it came.

    Bleed a little;
    Bleed a while;
    Bleed for someone,
    Or he dies!

    Dr. John,
    That's an impressive poem, speaking for the poor and their children.

    Brenda,
    Thank you for your prayers and that's a moving poem, to fear the Lord and Repent.
    There's a proverb: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and before honor comes humility."

    God's Holy Will,
    Your great-aunt has my prayers for her repose in Jesus Christ.

    Sheilakathy,
    Your little poem is a pearl in this place of poetry.

    horgan,
    I really like that sort of modern psalm, "Computers and Coral Reefs", which you shared with us.

    Hi, Mary V,
    I hope you're Ok, good to see your post.
    God was good to my neighbors and me yesterday evening and last night, during storms which brought hail to my neighborhood and brought multiple tornadoes to the Dallas/Fort Worth multiplex.
    I found no damage to my windows. I don't have a car, so didn't have to worry about hail (quarter size hail) damaging my vehicle.

    God loves all of you,
    Don
