    I LOVE ROCKS TOO!

    I picked up some rocks
    put them in my pocket
    then I was concerned
    what folks might think

    I'm aware You made them
    Father, of Heaven
    Father of earth
    they belong to You!

    They were on a driveway
by the side of the road
    so then were they property
    that I stole from someone?

I put them in a vase
    of flowers I picked
    did I steal these too
or do they belong to You!

Oh Father, I mean no harm
I just love all these so
    and I pick them up
    as I silently go

    I apprecieate Your beauty
    all the things You create
then I wonder if I sinned
    I really don't know!

I'd like to add if I may.. This thing with Fr. Corapi.. He's an assistant manager in the Delicatessen. He's been accused (I truly believe falsely), of flirting with the customers. The manager (The Catholic Church) will have to check the tapes and meet with the Master to resolve it. But I've worked alongside him. He's my co-worker. I've watched him clean his area. Put on his gloves. Make sandwiches masterpieces. I know where he came from before he came to work for the Master. He's told several of us after he was hired. But he's worked here day in and day out for many years. I've watched him. He's not that person anymore. He's changed since he took on the Assistant Manager's position. He's suspended right now, but we are all leaving messages of love, encouragement and hope on his spiritual answering machine. Does he receive the messages? I don't know. I wish I did. And as for paying for the sandwich, in case anyone has a problem with that portion.. there is a price to pay for following Jesus. And He PERSONALLY reimburses everyone who pays the price - out of His own account. Have a blessed day.

Hi Tom, This is a group for reflections and if you would allow it, I'd like to send you a reflection I've just enjoyed. I've been on the internet, going into the secular to bring salt and light. To offer resistance to sin, and a path to a better way through Jesus. I was troubled because a lot of people don't want to hear anything Catholic because they have met Catholics who have acted wrongly and set bad examples. And we have been judged by their mistakes. That's the common misconception. So I brought this to the Lord because it troubles me. I was thinking about it and He gave me something to ponder. An analogy if you will..
I am a sandwich maker in God's delicatessen. Everyone who comes in is hungry. They are looking for something to satisfy them. They CAN find it here. The slogan is Taste and see the goodness of the Lord. They don't come to watch me make the sandwiches, but they are certainly allowed to. I do my very best on every sandwich, making each specially and following the rules of my Master. Some people don't wear their gloves, but they are supposed to so that the offering to satisfy them is not contaminated. Some don't sweep the floors, mop them cover the meats to preserve them, refrigerate as instructed. But I do. I follow the rules and offer my best. There are others who make their sandwiches works of ART because of their surpassing skill. But we are all to make our sandwiches the absolute best we can, because sometimes the Master disguises Himself and then orders one to ensure we are giving our best. I love the spot checks. They fill me with joy that I have made my very best each time and sometimes it is for the One whom I serve. Since I do it with all my heart, I do not have to fear. But a growing trend I've noticed is that some who are hungry, have been hungry for so long, that they don't know they're hungry anymore. They wander in to see if there's anything appetizing to them. They see my co-worker with no gloves and a dirty counter and it turns their stomach. They walk away. But the co-worker is not following the rules and they do not represent all the staff, who DO clean their work area (Confession), who do greet everyone with a smile (Agape love), who do resolve conflicts over disputed charges (forgiveness)... And the Master does not come in and beat them, or fire them. He offers them rest and re-training. Good reflection?

THIS IS A RAP I WROTE ABOUT BEING PRO LIFE AND ARGUMENTS FOR CHOOSING LIFE
    ITS CALLED MODERN GENOCIDE
Let me tell u bout a modern genocide
1.5million human persons this year just died
Do we hear about it in the media? I don’t think so
This modern holocaust isn’t publicized, No?
The 1.5 million innocent with no voice
Somebody thinks they can make for them a choice.
The next doctors the next lawyers the next politicians and employers
Their lives cut short with only months and weeks live
Just cuz their parents were to selfish to give
If they fear that they can’t make ends meet with a kid
They shouldn’t feel like they have to get rid
There is out there a better option
Cuz 486,000 American families wait a year for an American adoption.
If the baby is a product of rape Why not love instead of hate
If your mother chose life, so why can’t you
Chose the same for your child too
Think of the girl who’s only sixteen and she’s been hanging around
Now she knows there’s a pregnancy to be found
She’s scared to tell her parents, cuz their catholic you see
And she wants to keep an air of normalcy
She wants to move on with her life
So she decides to turn to the knife
The doctor told her it would be easy the doctor told her it was right
Now she regrets it with all her might
The baby’s life cut short 3 weeks to live
Just cuz someone was too selfish to give
She had heard on the sonogram the baby’s heart
The doctor told her it was only a part
He said to her it wasn’t alive,
But the prolife people try to contrive
In her head she hears the sound of the baby’s heart
She truly believes now it’s not a part
The sound of the beating heart inside her head
Is the stark reality her baby is dead
The priest in the confessional gives her absolution
And to never make that same mistake again is her resolution
By their bloodshed for God their love fulfill.
The innocent victims on Calvary’s hill
The martyred sufferers in heavenly respite
No more struggle the 1.5 unlucky millions have lost the Earthly fight.

    That I May See

    Lord that I may see
    The beauty of Thy hand
    In all created things
    That I may hear
    The sweetness of Thy voice
    The whisper of Thy wings
    That I may know
    The fragrance of Thy love
    The blessed peace it brings
    That I may drink
    O Lord
    Of Thy eternal springs
    That I may feel
    The longings of Thy heart
For I would hold Thee close
    And not depart

Hello Gods Holy Will, Brenda and Sheliakathy ! I am humbled by your kind words re. my poems and grateful to the Lord for helping me to reach out to the hearts of others in this way. Grace is very happy Gods Holy Will. She has just celebrated her thirteenth birthday ... I think she was about six years old when I wrote the poem. She still climbs on my knee though ... and she is still an angel ! Brenda ... be assured that your daughter and her husband and children will get a suitable house very soon and that in the meantime they will be safe. Jesus challenges us to have faith and rewards us when we cast aside all doubt and place our trust entirely in Him to answer whatever problems we may have. Trust Him.
