I am so ecstaticly happy for you. We both know what it means to be Catholic. You, a new Catholic, and me, an old one come back. The priest lit our candle, but I lit the one today. Special moments in our lives. I did read at Sunday's Mass and just felt so blessed to do so.
Keep up the faith, we pray for each other that we may continue to find God's will and be joyous in our faith forever on our own paths .

I got the honor of lighting the Advent wreath this Sunday which was also my Patron Saint's Feast day!

Advent is Here!

My first Advent as a new Catholic is finally here,
I get so sentimental around this time of year.

The sights,the sounds of Christmas songs, the creche'
Are now becomming all the things that I love best.

How I love my newfound Faith,and all that it entails,
All these things together,I love,my heart begins to swell.

The baby Jesus he came for one and all,
That is why I pray I will be open to His call.

So when you light the candles upon the Advent wreath each week,
Remember what this season is about, and His Graces are
what we all should seek.
