"Battle of the heavens"

Oh the Devil awakens,
And he tries,
With all his empty lies,
To tare down the world,

Fire in the eyes,
Of the enemy,
Dark as the night,
And just as cold,

Fight the fire with light,

Shine out,
Shine transparently,
And with the light,
Dispel the shadows of your soul,

The world trembling as they fall,
Stars falling from the heavens,
The supernatural,
Makes its self known,

In the battle of the heavens,

Fight fire with light,

And Shine out bright,
Shin transparently,
And with the light,
Dispel the shadows of your soul,

In heavens light,
This fire fight,
An eternal battle ground,
With the glow of destruction,

The power and might,
Clashing out of sight,
Far away and yet so close,
A battle in the heavens,

So fight fire with light,
And shine out bright,
And in the light,
Of the one who made all,

Smite down the demons,
Kill all the wicked,
Destroy their might,
And cast them out of sight,

The flash of the naked steal,
Seen in the lighting strike,
The shrieking of the demons,
Heard in the howling wind,

The end of the battle,
Seen in the dawn,
And resumed in the dusk,
And eternal fire fight,

Battle of the heavens,
Souls falling left and right,
With fire flying,
And many dying,

Fighting fire with the light.

God is the same as He ever was.

THE FURNACE OF HUMILIATION
I must be tried and tested.
There's so much in my life, dear Lord,
so much of pomp and pride,
a war against Your Word, O God,
that rages deep inside.

So much of fear, of doubt and scorn,
so much of choler, wrath;
so much of self that blinds my eyes
and veils the better path.

I must be tried and tested.
As gold is tested by the fire,
so I must face the trial;
and all the dross must burn away,
the bitterness and bile.

I yield my self to You, O Lord;
let sanctifying fire
touch every corner of my life;
create what You desire.

God is pervasive.

God is sufficient.

God is graceful.

STRENGTH
Gird me with strength, O Lord;
I have battles to fight today,
battles I dare not face alone;
Give me Thy strength, I pray.

Gird me with strength, O Lord;
You will subdue my enemy.
Make my way perfect before You, Lord;
Let me rejoice in Thee.

Gird me with strength, O Lord;
Give me a song of joy within.
Awesome in power and strength is God!
Blessed be He! Amen!

God is renewal.
