GOD'S "PHONE" NUMBER

Hello God, I called tonight
To talk a little while
I need a friend who'll listen
To my anxiety and trial.

You see, I can't quite make it
Through a day just on my own...
I need your love to guide me,
So I'll never feel alone.

I want to ask you please to keep,
My family safe and sound.
Come and fill their lives with confidence
For whatever fate they're bound.

Give me faith, dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I can't change in any way.

I thank you God, for being home
And listening to my call,
For giving me such good advice
When I stumble and fall.. !!!!!!!

Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time.
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening
To my troubles and my sorrow.
Good night, God, I love You, too,
And I'll call again tomorrow!

One day I stopped by Church to pray and the rosary group was praying. Rather than just joining in, I sat in the presence of our Lord and listened to the group pray. These words came to me.

Rosary
In the presence of Your intimacy
Flow praises of grace

In the rhythm of comfort and peace
Waves of prayer flow in unity

Immersed in this prayer
Drawn into unity with You

The soul is restored into the heaven of eternity

Hello everyone,

A really nice lady approached me in Church last Friday and asked me to pray for the following special intention. She’s planning on taking a girl in to live with her at her own private dwelling. This particular girl it seems has been involved with drugs, and the lady is hoping to steer her in the right direction but it’s obviously going to be very difficult and she needs the entire prayer backup she can get.

The lady in question is a Daily Communicant herself, she’s also devoted to Our Lady and the Rosary which she often leads in Church. And the Rosary of course will be my daily prayer on their behalf. Wouldn’t it be absolutely lovely if in the process of helping this young girl kick the drug habit, she also introduced her to the Rosary, Mass etc? This could indeed happen if sufficient prayers were offered on their behalf hence this request.

This was in our church bulletin today and I thought it appropriate to post for Mother`s Day

Earth`s Angels

A day that`s fit for a Queen
comes in the month of May.
A day that`s full of reverance
we call it "Mother`s Day."

A day that`s set aside for Mom
to show her that we care
for all that she has done for us
for always being fair.

Anytime we called her name
we knew one thing for sure
that she`d be there to answer
with a kiss or with a cure.

For Mothers are so watchful
with a strong and but gentle heart,
who react with such emotion
as they act God`s given part.

Moms wear smiles and Moms shed tears
dating back until our birth
for Moms are God`s examples
of His Angels here on earth.

A Search

occasionally
I scream,
an eternal uphill struggle
a hopeless walk to sanity,
what else is there for me to do
but scream?
occasionally
my stomach rumbles
as pain, hunger and strife
make it grow distressingly tight;
occasionally
I try to fight
and seek that elusive light
at the end of the tunnel
only to find an inky blackness,
an ebony obscurity of darkness
that smothers the soul;
occasionally
I search
for a twisted street or
an endless channel
only to discover a world
devoid of any kindness,
languishing in defilement,
foul smelling with pollution,
tarnished with infamy and slander,
and an ever reigning lust.
but often I stand up,
for myself if for none other
and look down towards the bottom
of verdant vales
and find what I require:
HOPE.
