He Always Claims "She Broke My Heart"

He always claims
they broke his heart
though each one leaves
before they start

a life as one
no happy endings has he
nor does he give them
he's concerned only for "me"

everything is all about
what he didn't get
never once does he give
or be concerned they fret

maybe he gives grudgingly
his back against the wall
hoping all the while
he can make them fall

fall into his willing arms
willing each to give
everything they have and more
if they want to live

live they don't
not for long
as he complains of their
endless siren song

each one singing
in her own key
until finally
he sets her free

he has not had me
he says "Yet!"
for when he does
he'll win some bet

made over a decade ago
never mind the lives he crushed
the demise of marriages
as he rushed

men to their graves
before their time
hoping to steal
what was so sublime

in its prime
in full bloom
what will happen when
he meets his doom?

Here is a page of my reflections I wrote down one day after adoration...I am kind of down today(depression).I was looking at some of my older poetry and just stuff here and there..I have written..lol.Trying to find some happy times I wrote about.Here is one....I will share this with ev'ryone.It is lengthy....but my savior felt so good in my heart on this particular day ...I have always been madly in love with him or just plain mad..lol........

My Lord, my spirit was low;my body weary and downtrodden.Within my soul my Lord,I felt your gentle touch,;I no longer felt alone and disheveled.It was you my most merciful savior ,that carried me through hardships and tribulations.For it is you my precious Lord, not mortal man, that carries the true key to my heart.Kelly O'Mara


You gave your life so that we all shall live,O Lord so gracious ;O Lord so merciful and kind.No one has shown unto me my precious savior ,such amazing love and compassion as you have.Without you O Lord; my dark nights would reap loneliness and my days would fare darker.With you my precious savior, there is your beauty within my heart and your peaceful spirit within my soul.Without you I am nothing.Kelly O'Mara


I must remember to be silent Lord,letting your gentle spirit in ;listening for your soft voice within my ear ;your voice that comforts me within my time of need.It is you my loving and forgiving savior that will always hold me near;for mortal man only look upon me for what I may offer unto them.You my precious savior ,love me immensely and unconditionally for whom I am and comfort me in my most darkest hour.O Lord I long for your touch and I yearn for the sight of your face.One day soon my Lord ,may I be within your glorious kingdom with you ,my heavenly Father.For it is then, true happiness I shall receive.Kelly O'Mara



While on my knees;bowing before you my precious Lord;I felt your presence.Your spirit engulfed me;warmth and peace flowed within my body and through my soul.My heart is yours forever.

Sometimes when it seems that I am all alone;all I have to do is look up towards the heavens and at all the beauty that surrounds me that my Lord hath created.It is then, I realize how rich I am and how lonely I'm not.Kelly O'Mara

Thank you God for the times you kept me safe from evil and from harm
You love me and protected me with in your loving arms
Thank you God for the times you forgave and unconditionally loved me
You forgave me and loved me with no refrain and without plea.
Thank you for your love that is so precious and divine
You show me love that withstands all wars and is endless without time.
Thank you God for protecting me and walking with me side by side.
You never abandoned me even through denial and boughts of foolish pride
Thank you God for giving your son who lovingly died for all and for me.
You graciously gave your precious son so we all shall be set free.
Thank you God for giving your love to a downtrodden wretch such as I.
You are my precious savior; your love amazing I can not deny.

Rainy Day
I laid my head upon the pillow with hopes that the stresses of the day would slowly fade away.
The distant sound of thunder echoed as the blue skies soon turned dark and then to different shades of grey
I peacefully continued watching as rain drops slowy trickled down and around my window pane again.
The soft repetitive sound of raindrops took me to a state where stress no longer troubled me within
I listened as the rain beat with rhythm upon on my bedroom window on this very rainy day
And then I thanked God graciously for the rain and for all my stresses that finally went away.....Kelly O'Mara

I WANT A HUSBAND

I want a husband
so tired of being a widow
feel all tired out from crying
like a weeping willow

My head aches
my life is full of sorrow
because of all the trouble
I've had to borrow

Was the devil who loaned me it
though I wasn't able to see
I thought all those things I did
would all be helpful to me

I've asked the Lord to forgive
my hubby forgave me so
though in my heart I feel guilty
that devil just won't let go!

LADY DRESSED IN BLUE

Lovely Lady dressed in blue--teach how to pray
God was just your little boy, tell me what to say.
Did you lift him up,sometimes, gently on your knee?
Did you sing to Him the way, mother does to me?
Did you hold His hand at night? Did you ever try
telling Him stories of the world? O! And did He cry?
Do you really think He cares if I tell Him things---little things that happen?
And do the Angel`s wings make noise? And can He hear me if I speak low?
Does He understand me now? Tell me ---for you know!
Lovely Lady dressed in blue, teach me how to pray!
God was just your little Boy, and you know the way!!

Advent Prayer

Like foolish folk of old I would not be,
Who had no room that night for Him and thee.
See, Mother Mary, here within my heart
I've made a little shrine for Him apart;
Swept it of sin, and cleansed it with all care;
Warmed it with love and scented it with prayer.
So, Mother, when the Christmas anthems start,
Please let me hold your baby--in my heart.
