Ya know, Lent can get pretty long. And then that's why we have St. Patty's day. To honor a great saint who made us all Christians. It's a day to have a little reprieve, to feel happy and proud.

Are you of Irish decent, Po?

They had to cancel the parade here in Mo'town on Sat because of the rain and the strong winds. What a bummer.

i do hope they have better luck in New York on Wednesday. I'll be taping the parade to watch that night at my little family party here.

Perhaps I should've named this "the very un-fun club", since no one ever comes here anymore.

Here's something fun, I've been enjoying this so much:

    THE VATICAN VIRTUAL TOUR

Much God-given talent was given to build such edifices and create the wonderful art.

This is simply beautiful...awesome. For those who have been fortunate enough to have visited the Vatican, it may be a chance to relive memories.....
For those who have not made the journey, you may enjoy this virtual trip.

INSTRUCTIONS: After you link on the site below and select an image and it appears, then HOLD DOWN THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON AND SLOWLY MOVE THE CURSOR AROUND THE ROOM. Once you get the hang of it, and if you have the time and inclination, you could visit for hours.

I am working, obsessing if you will, on a very fun project. I am writing a book, or should I say managing a project. What is surprising is that I dont always know what the book will include. You see, I am collecting letters of gratitude, and everyone is different. The project is much better than I thought it was going to be and I thought it would be good. You are welcome to write a very fun letter. I need uplifting things too!!!
Here is the project. please email me if you have a letter.

Letters To Priests, Thanking The Men Of The Catholic Letters To Priests, Thanking The Men Of The Catholic Church
This is a book in progress. Your post may be published. Healing comes in many forms. Gratitude, and thank you notes, are profound for both the writer and the receiver. Catholics have tools to help them through life’s struggles, prayer, the Rosary, and Priests.
You can write about divorce, grieving, loss of jobs, happiness, whatever part of life a Priest helped you with. Thank them for words that guided your life. I am doing this for healing, and to reflect the values and strengths of the Catholic Church. Priest give up many things we take for granted. Sharing our gratitude will hopefully clarify the depth of healing so many Priests have given to the Catholic community and beyond. I need help getting to those that are not online. Please talk to your Priest and post in the Bulletins to give those not online a chance to participate. The online community has been overwhelmingly in support of this project. It will make you proud to be a Catholic. What a great gift to give your children on their wedding day. I guide to life with strength, dignity and ethics during life's challenges.
Letters To Priests, Thanking The Men Of The Catholic Church is now a LinkedIn group. http://www.linkedin.com/e/vgh/2656614/ es.

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi TU understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.

    Hop zis mad you smil.
