Well, t'is broken n'more, m'lassie!

Me future father-in-law and future hubby fixed it for me, and future mssr. le hubby cleaned all the leftover goo and dirt from duct tape off for me, and then F.F-I-L took me to lunch, where I had, no kidding, a HUGE well-done cheeseburger with the works, from a faboo nearby pub. He said it was OK to eat meat on Friday... I hope he was right....

Kinda like the "Five dollar foot long dah dah dah" for Subway. Teehee that was wierd.
They are good burgers.
I think I'm going to make one or two for lunch. Better do it now it is almost noon where I'm living.

Okay we (my family) buy a mix from Azure Standard, an organic foods company out of Oregon. The mix also can be bought from its producer Fantastic World Foods, a vegetarian website. Shows a delicious looking picture on the recipe blog. It is called Santa Cruz Nature's Burger. The ingredients are.....

Brown rice, dehydrated vegetables (yellow and green peas, onions, potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, celery, carrots, red bell peppers), barley, wheat, gluten flour, oats, sesame seeds, soy protein concentrate, soy sauce powder, dried yeast, salt, soybean oil, yeast extract, spices and paprika.

So nothing dangerous and weird. Pretty much ALL natural and organic.
So if you ever buy the mix or make it yourself here are the basic directions.

For approximately six patties, mix 1,1/2 cups of Nature's Burger with 1,1/2 cups boiling water. Stir well.
Let the mixture stand for 10-15 minutes until it has cooled and and become stiff.
Shape into patties.
Pan-fry them on medium heat in vegetable oil until done or brown on both sides.


And they are good with tomatoe, lettuce, avocado etc. Even barbeque sauce, but I have strange appetites sometimes. Mmmmm
