The suffering warrior

Visit the forum of this group.
Group created by Justin A

This group is for Catholics who have suffered greatly in any way and would like to help others in need. And for those who still suffer and would like a friend in their afflictions.
And we can also offer our past suffering for those in need of it.
Ultimately suffering comes from sin, sin from evil, and evil from Satan, (with a few exceptions).By being a "Suffering warrior" we can help turn this into good for others.

Keep our Crucified Lord always before you and suffer all thing for and with Him. There is true joy in suffering if we only open our hearts.

I have the same issues as you spiritualunity so you are not alone. And I have lost friends, or rather people whom i thought were my best of friends because of it. I just posted a question because i am having to deal with the loss of a long time friend and need some help. after a year of the friend that abandoned me, i still cry because I care and cannot stop.

Hi, I am glad to be here.
I have many chronic illnesses. I do not like to complain. When a friend asks me how am I tell the facts of how I am doing. Then I was told that it would be nice to call you once and hear good news. I thought, even though I mention what I am going through and not nearly all that I am going through,as not to be a downer, and I am there for my friends and listen to their positive and negative situations.
Am I wrong in telling my friends what I am going through?
For example, tonight one of my friends called me and asked how I was. I told her that I am in alot of pain from the doctor changing medicine. and then she said what I wrote above. I answered, it could be worse.
What do you think? Is it best not to mention anything in these regards or not?

Do you think that God would punish me by letting this happen to my daughter?

Wow it has been a long time since I have been able to get back on here!
And I see there are many more people who have added their names to our ranks.
So I would like to just say a prayer out right:
"Thank you God for the people you put in our lives who help make us laugh, and keep us company through hard times. Help us to accept the torment and pain we have been given. And help us to remember that through suffering, we can join our selves more completely with Christ on the cross. Bless all here and help them. Amen"

Hi everyone. I am suffering more than usual tonight. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection and it's really getting to me. I am in a ton of pain. Even a Tylenol 3 did not help the pain one bit. Please pray for me.

May I request the prayers of everyone who sees this? I am not trying to complain too much but I am suffering from excruciating knee pain and have been since around midnight.

I just want to encourage anyone that has been abused... especially by someone they trusted and thought was so holy and religous they NEVER would have hurt you. God heals, time heals, give them both a chance, I used to spend hours at night crying and being scared, I spent at least ten years praying to St. Philomena for a husband who loved God who wouldn't hurt me and who would be a good father to our children. My grandmother said no man like that exists.... well he does and I've been married to him for four years.
So keep your chin up and never cease praying, even if its just baby prayers, which was all I managed to do. I can't pray the rosary yet, due to the memories it triggers, but I can listen to it now. May God be praised and blessed for all the healing He has already brought about in my life!

    Hi Holly,
Welcome! As both a member of caf and this group I know you
will both help and be helped. I know this first hand. My circum-
stances are very similar. I was raped at age 4 and am very
bipolar. If you ever want to communicate with me by personal
message for privacy, the door is open.
    Hi to you Justin.
    Lorraine
