Yesterday I went to Fernadina beach, Florida and ... my kids had such an awesome day ..I love the smile on their faces and I love the time I spend with them...they are our hope our future, and an extension of us only better ...and through Jesus I am who I am today...through him I was able to beat addiction and able to give what I always wanted to give to my beautiful children..a loving and grateful mother...Rumi said, " The heart is like a candle longing to be lit....Jesus you lit lit my heart and through you I shine and I am that person, mother, spouse and friend to others I always wanted to be ..thank you Jesus

I've been away from here too long.

Acacia 12, never give up hope. I've been clean now for a little over 10 years, ( April 4th ). Due to my use of drugs, CPS took my kids from me in '02. My wife left in '03. I finally got to make a new start with my kids in '06. And its been good. Can't say perfect, but they decided to let me be dad again. Unfortunately my wife divorced me a year after she left. But we are still close friends. We all keep in contact. They all live in different states. But always have hope ! It was God who gave me the strength to get through the roughest times, and He gives me strength now. When He finally brought me home to the Catholic Church in '06, I knew a new journey had just begun. All glory to God !!!

I used to watch my grandfather deliver his sermon when I was very young. He came out of retirement to preach. He loved being a deacon in his elder years, but I guess it did not quench the hunger he had to serve Christ and he continued to preach at different locations and at Nursing homes.....he wanted more and he had a passion to proclaim. The power of Christ is a very strong thing. After he would finish delivering Gods message, at the end of service the very moving words of an old hymn would ring through the corridors ' Tenderly Jesus is calling..O' sinner come home. Ones whom had strayed away from the Lord would come down; ones whom simply had never heard the message of salvation and the ones whom were ready to give their life to the Lord would walk to the front of the pulpit and kneel . I have seen men over 6 foot be brought down to their knees by the power of God. As a child I thought I really knew the power of God and the richness of his love, I did not. I never really let him in ; in my heart. what an amazing day for me it was when I finally did. His love is like no other, his love surpasses all love. It is true and he is just...his love will give you strength that we need to conquer any addiction

I am now a Catholic convert and I love it....through God today I an drug free...I love you Jesus !..thank you for making me whole again

Prayers for all whom are suffering with addiction, illness, depression, anxiety and whom are spiritually aching .

My beautiful Jesus please send your peaceful spirit to those that suffer and reach out to them with your compassionate heart and love that they may find comfort through you...I you and all ask this within your precious name...Amen
