I love praying the rosary and do it every morning! It brings me peace, and it's a wonderful way to start your day. I have been doing this since Ash Wednesday and has become the most precious thing I do on a daily basis.

RileyG: I used to pray my daily Rosary first thing in the morning. It was a very peaceful and joyful way to start each day. After a while, though, I fell out of the habit, and now I pray it with my family in the evening, right after dinner. My only advice is to find something that works just right for you

When is the best time to say the rosary? I need to get into the habit of saying it daily, with great reverence of course!

    God Bless +

Hello all. I don't know if it was posted but here's a little known miracle about eight German priests who were reciting the rosary in Hiroshima the day the bomb was dropped: http://holysouls.com/sar/rosarymiracle.htm

I have just returned to church after a 20 year absence. I was in desperation, and tried prayer and my prayers were answered. I looked online to get more information on the rosary. I downloaded the Rosary Army podcasts and follow along with them. This may be helpful to you "Irish Heart" I don't think I could say the rosary effectively by reading, and I just didn't know some of the prayers by hear.
I find saying the rosary very relaxing. I struggle to get my "20 minutes" of relaxation time each day. Are anyone else of you working mothers? How do you find the time. I suppose I could just put my Ipod on and go about my household chores, but with kids tugging at my leg I feel it doesn't give the rosary the attention it deserves.

I do pray everyday and often find I get distracted, sometimes caught up in the correct words to say, and then have to tell myself that God doesn't care what words you use as long as the I truly belieive in him.

I will try harder, pray for me.

I have been praying the rosary off and on for many years and in the last couple years have made it a habit at least once every day to say 5 decades of the Rosary along with a prayer to St. Michael and all the Angels and Saints. So may Blessings, I could never stop now. Sometimes when my day is very busy and I have to say or finish the Rosary at bedtime and fall asleep, this would be very discouraging to have to be sure to make it up the next day. But recently heard if you fall asleep before you finish, your guardian Angels will finish it for you. Anyone else heard of that? Just in case I try to finish it the first possible time in the morning.
Blessings that come from Peace and Goodwill to all.
