    Hi All,
I'm from the Philly suburbs. If you are in or near Exton, PA there is the Theology of the Body Institute which offers weeklong retreats about the encyclical written by the late PJP II, Theology of the Body. Very good. Check it out.

Hi, new to this group. Live in the Lehigh Valley. Looking for a bible study group and an LOH group. Wondering if any of the churches in the area have communal LOH services.

In case anyone is looking for a retreat house in the Philadelphia area, I highly recommend St. Joseph's in the Hills at Malvern, PA.

I was there for a weekend retreat many years ago and am going back at the end of this summer.
There is also a Jesuit retreat house nearby in Wernersville, PA, that seems to have very interesting longer-duration retreat programs, but I have no personal experience with them yet.

Hi All -- Something else that former Pittsburgh residence may not be aware of is that The Meadows Race Track has expanded to become a full fledged Casino. Here's the link if you're interested:

    http://www.meadowsgaming.com/

We also have another casino as well called The Rivers Casino. Here's a link so you can check it out as well:

Hi Whatever Girl -- You bet the Southside has "blown up." There are some really nice restarants, shops, etc. that are there now. Even though I don't go there often, it's always nice to visit from time to time. There's even a Hofbrauhaus which is a chain that began in Germany.

Oh really? I have heard that the weather has been nice lately though right? I'm not in a rush to get back that bad. Iol We lived in Greentree, actually...so we are looking at Bethel Park, Greentree or Mt Lebanon....I have heard that southside has really blown up! We lived there when Cheesecake Factory went in...I heard they have cleaned up the bars, and restaurants and it's a pretty ''happenin'' place...

Hi whatevergirl, welcome home!!!!!! Quit being a chicken and come up now before winter starts - they are saying it's going to be a bad winter

Where in the Pittsburgh area are you looking to live? Lots of houses are for sale now - you'd probably get a good deal. I live near 10 minutes from Oakland

Hi everyone--I was born and raised in NJ, went to college in Florida, met my husband there, and we moved to Pittsburgh where he was born, and we moved BACK to Florida in 07. Now, we are strongly considering moving back to Pittsburgh--whatta great town! City of Champions! I miss it. Florida has been a good experience, as I think it through, but just something about the people in Pgh. A beautiful city, and we just miss it. I should say I do, even the kids have gotten used to Florida, but my dd said she wants to go to University of Pitt. So, we are leaning on moving back next summer. Prayers would be welcome. I thought I would join here though since I have a little of Jersey and Pittsburgh in me.

    GO STEELERS! GO PENS!
