Did you all know that the 15 St. Bridgit prayers can also be used as The Stations Of The Cross? I have used them frequently. Used to say them daily for many years. Love them.

Here is a link to Stations Of The Cross For The Elderly if anyone is interested. Since I fall into the elderly group, I find them very touching and meaningful. Hope some of you will check it out.

Last year during Lent, I found Stations Of The Cross For The Elderly on The Sunday Visitor website. I loved them. They brought tears to my eyes and I said them daily. Not only because of my age, 72, but also because I worked in a nursing home for 38 years and could relate to every one of the stations. I will be praying them this Lent, too.

Hi everyone. I love praying the Stations Of The Cross. I have done thes every night during Lent for many many yearsl I used to have a cope of Stations of the vross for Nurses but gave it to my dtr and she lost it. But I did find one that is heartwarning and brings tears to my eyes each time I pray them They are from Our Sunday Visitor for the Elderly and believe me I qualify. If I can find the link I will post it. I printed them out for myself.

Just go to www.oursundayvisitor.com and type in stations of the cross for the elderly.

My wife and I walked the Stations of the Cross at church with The Catholic Devotional at last week for the first time since Lent. We're thinking of doing this once a month going forward. I find it more moving than even the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary.

I found a great CD of the Stations of the Cross by Dana and Fr. Kevin Scallon that has music and meditations on it. This is going to be my evening prayer help for Lent!

Lent is still a month away but it'll go by before we know it! So I'm joining this group now and hoping others will too.

This could be a really good spiritual help during Lent. It seems, too, that I remember as a child the Stations being emphasized even more year-round as a devotion. Do others recall that? I think it's a good idea. St. Faustina's Diary mentions them, for instance.

Just a question: of all the people at the Passion of our Lord, who would you most want to be?

May I make a suggestion? For any who have not yet had the pleasure of reading them, I recommend to you, especially as Lent approaches this year, that you use the Way of the Cross meditations that Pope Benedict XVI gave in 2005, when he was still Cardinal Ratzinger. They are handsomely printed and bound in book form by Pauline Books & Media. They are outstanding and well worth your devotion.

The Way of the Cross is one of the most ingenious devotions the Church has ever come up with. I have become increasingly more interested in it in recent years. So I look forward to good discussion here.
