California Catholics

Wow. Not a lot of messages. Hopefully more people will find this group. I have lived in southern California near Santa Barbara. I have family there and spent many school vacations there with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends. I love the beach and miss living there so much! I have lived in Sacramento. I liked it there, too. The people were friendly, I've got lots of friends there and plenty of relatives. There was always something to do. Right now I'm in the very center of California. I live in a small town in "farm land." I do like living in a small town. It is quiet, peaceful, and you run in to people you know often. I like the close-knit community feel. Overall, California is wonderful. I can see why people want to move here from out of state. Even though I like where I am living at right now, I hope I will end up on the coast one day.
There's not a lot that goes on where I live right now. There are fairs throughout the year for the Civil War, Renaissance, October Fest, the summer carnival, Portuguese Soupish festival, and the Farmer's Market is a big deal on the day it comes. lol

This sounds like an awesome idea. I am a big supporter of distributism.
