I agree with you. And we here do not hate or judge homosexuals, but it appears that all those in favor of "liberal way of living" are being aggresive etc.towards us who are just "fighting" for a chance to raise our voice, to speak up for what matters to us. This is a democratic country, or at least it is supposed to be, so why then sabotage this action, why then attack (verbally and physically) young and older people? in simple words - the majority is not allowed to say its opinion about this great social issue. parents are not allowed to raise their children in the way they want (by bringing them catholic beliefs etc...). the government and the politicians, as well as most of the media, are ignoring the whole situation that's been going on for weeks, or the media has a say in all of it by bringing their ("liberal-democratic") version of everything. where is their so-called-tolerance they have always been talking about?

still, thank God for all of it. there is only one Truth, and the lie(s) have many "faces" (versions)...
we are all just being patient and praying it all ends well, without rude, bad talk about or from any side.
it's as simple as it can be - holy matrimony (marriage) is a union between one man and one woman. everything else is sth else.

like you said, we don't judge or have prejudice against those who think otherwise.

Hi george-i read ur concerns with daughter in law-may i offer my suggestive thougnt that staying close with a priest that can help u impart the ans. regarding our Catholic faith, I personally see a wall of resistance when the thought of convincing someone to ur personal beliefs plow into the arena of interaction. I have a son, age 34, that told me that him i could communicate better if i stopped bringing up Catholic beliefs on life-he was not a christian, & did not believe anything about Jesus being divine; he considered himself a "Spiritualist". Well, ya, i had to step back and realize that-well i thought after i was granted the annulment many moons ago that my 'ex' would continue to bring up the children catholic; well not so-she married a second time in a methodist church; so that ended the catholic upbring-for that matter-they all drifted into their own twilight zone of spirituality. I will keep ur efforts in pray at Mass.

Now-just heard on the news-'Boyscouts of America' will allow "Gay children" to enter the Boyscouts. Gee i never knew children were born homosexuals! This is nurturing that has infested their young minds from either dysfunctional, immature, parental home life-or 'street baptism' into that concept of doing-where their never was a mature father or mother that kept Jesus in the heart of their children from day one. Ok-a loving God the father from day one!
Years ago i worked at a children psychiatric hospital-most of those kids were deliquents with serious emotional problems that came from their homes. All the sexual acting out many children from ages 9-15 were symtomatic of the abusive truama that had been placed on their fragile minds;a sad imprint that leaves many children with one foot in the grave. So, well nurtured "Gay Children" will now cruise about the boyscout camps with innocent faces and tears on their sleeves that they are just like every other kid except in sex needs. What comes up eventually is- 'don't knock it till u try it'-and kids are naturally curious.
.We see the sexual assaults happening in the military-well guess whats going to come about from this. 'God Bless America'-No way; i believe it should read-'Oh Dear God Help America'!

hello jeana12-correct u are-it's the ruling from the seat of peter that is the representative of Christ on earth-christ is true God-true Man. One God in the mystery of Father, son, holy spirt. Therefore when the holy father makes a statement on faith and morals-that is the infallible words of Christ being spoken through the Seat of Peter. Now if there are those that can't accept this-well the door is open to freely leave and worship freely with their conscience as their guide.

remember we are not to hate on homosexuals,what is required? not to condone any acts that are against our teachings.. we dont hold prejudice or judge but we also dont condone..

We here in Scotland also filled out the for or against Holy matrimony and if homosexual marriages should be allowed,, The politicians are showing their sheer ignorance of our faith by asking us to answer this demented question of theirs in the first place... however we did here and it gor 99%vote majority to no homosexual marriages in the catholic church... allelujah
probably their next question will be asking us to explain why??? so dumb

Mi ovdje u Škotskoj i popunili za ili protiv svetom braku, a ako homoseksualni brakovi trebali biti dozvoljeni,, Političari su pokazali svoju obična nepoznavanje naše vjere tražeći od nas odgovoriti na to pitanje dementnog od njih na prvo mjesto ... Ipak nismo, ovdje je dobio 99% glasova većinu za homoseksualnih brakova ne u katoličkoj crkvi ... allelujah

@Gratefulsinner: referendum - a vote in which all the people in a country or an area are asked to give their opinion about or decide an important political or social question.

it all started few months ago when the government decided to bring into schools the Health education. since many people have been against it, they started this initiative called "on behalf of the family" that stands up for our (some (those in favor of the "health education", lgbt associations, mostly "liberals" who don`t approve or tolerate opinion of those who think different... etc.) say too conservative, middle age way of thinking) christian catholic attitude, way of thinking and living. so there are peoples` signatures (votes) neccessary that it even comes to referendum (as it is allowed in this is democratic country we live in (or not)) - opportunity to say `yes` or `no` for marriage (holy matrimony) to be defined in the constitution...

anyways, hope it`s at least a bit clearer than it was the last time. sorry for the long explaining I just wrote. )

By the way gorget to introduce your daughter in law to the catholic church why not start with her interests, although astrology leads down a different path we have a common interest you could share with her, the astrology emblems are dipicted and placed throughout the vatican,,,although they are there for completely differnt reasons it may just spark her interest to find out more usualy there is nopersuasion required just point her in the direction of her interest and God will do the rest if you promise him you will continue to pray for her as i know you will my friend
