Was watching the Angelus and before it started and after Mass the Pope was greeting people at the door like a small town vicar, charming, he also has my heart as well.

But why do some nuns act like the Pope is a rockstar and they are the "groupies?"
This one nun came running at him up the asle, and I do mean running and grabbed his hand while she was talking "at him" super fast, you couldn't hear the conversation, just then the Pope's assistant "grabbed her" under the arm and PULLED her aside rather briskly, I'm trying not to judge here but this makes catholics look bad.

I mean he IS the Pope and I would be happy to meet him but that was embarassing to watch.

Today,I went to the catholic religious store to get a Saint Joseph's birthday card for my Mom her name is Josephine. I will be watching the installation of Pope Francis before I go over to Mom's House on March 19. Mary Virginia your Celtic cross is very Irish, indeed. The big Irish parade is this Saturday in downtown Houston, there are always so many people. Water in Buffalo Bayou is dyed green! O that's right it's mass day on March 17.

svid-So you weren't joking about the Jewish thing? Well, I suppose there are some Cardinals that are jewish or are from a jewish backgound, in fact I have read of some. And I love the jewish people, they are very innovative and creative, and they gave us our sweet SAVIOR!

I am so excited a new pope! Pope Francis seems to me to be a humble person! When he asked for the blessing I thought that was so nice. It was nice to see this on all the local networks and CNN etc. I hope some non-Catholics will come to know our Catholic Faith and convert . What's not to like? Founded by Christ! Good enough for me!!!
