Maria Frances, Father Clifford is wonderful. I watch him in the afternoon, between the Divine Mercy Chaplet & Rosary. Father passed away last year, yet continues to inspire... remarkable, radiant warmth, wisdom and truth. So much love! May Eternal light shine upon him.

Yes, I think that each and every priest is special and loved by God. We are all human and these men give their lives for the salvation of souls.
They deserve our prayers, respect and love.

Has anyone caught the little programs that feature our Pope Francis. They are short talks that were given while he was a Cardinal. They are very interesting. Today I noticed one was on after Morning Mass. He spoke about Saint Robert Bellarmine.

Sometimes it's so hard to know what to do when you hear people in the parish making snarky comments about the priest. There are some people I just have to pray for, and constantly examine my own conscience, y'know what I mean?

Sometimes I'd like to call out some of 'em and say "If Father was hearing what you are saying right now, how do you think he would feel, and how would you feel yourself?"

But I'm trying to avoid drama these days...

jhyer Oh, no that is so sad. So sorry! People have to know that all priest are different and have different gifts . I will pray for his transition and that you receive a new wonderful Holy Priest for your Parish.

3 DOCTORS Transfers are never easy . Not sure why these thing are done but there has to be a good reason. I will pray for your Bishop as well. Hope it is a smooth transfer as well.

Went to Mass tonight and had a long talk with Father afterwards. It seems as if his transfer was forced by a small contingency of our parishioners. I am even more sad now.

It is a story about a priest in India who died and was shown hell, purgatory, and heaven by his Guardian Angel! It is profound!!!!!!! It is of course a story of a near death experience. We see so many on the web but this one is of a priest and his story was on EWTN and I saw his story also on the web on a Catholic Site.
jhyer You say you will be traveling heavily so perhaps while traveling you could give it a listen! The entire homily is wonderful! I remembered it and told many about it!
