The Militia of the Immaculata

Group created by DesertSister62

"This group is for Members of the Militia of the Immaculata, (which would include also; The Knights at the Foot of the Cross (KFC),
For those wanting to consecrate themselves to Our Lady and her humble servant St. Maximilian Kolbe and
For those of you who want to know more about us and/or pray along with us!"

"Pope John Paul II said that all methods of consecrating ourselves to Mary are equally worthy; but that Kolbean consecration adds a clear apostolic dimension." The spirit of the MI is the spirit of continual conversion but when lived in the spirit of willingness and humility, the Immaculata will elevate our natural gifts and inspire us to holiness and fruitful service within the Church!

    Hello all!
Just stopping by to say hello! DS, James and Christine, I place all under Mary's special protection and love and care! Please keep me in your prayers!

Christine and James, I also think Pope Frances will do great things for Holy Mother Church! He lead the Holy Rosary today and gave a great speech. Good and Holy man! God bless Pope Frances!

God bless all in the group

    Hi James and Christine!

Good to see you two again! And James, there is the Chaplet again! I very much need to pray it right now so really appreciated your words!

And Christine, I know what you mean about Pope Francis! I have ordered a couple of books on him as I have really liked all that I have heard about him and wanted to learn more! I'm reading "Francis; Pope of the New World," and then I will read; "Pope Francis." He is so different in his approach to our faith and how to live it, that he is really stirring things up everywhere he goes, I think!

And congratulations on your subjects, Christine! I agree that studying Mariology and Christology is definitely the way to have a great school year!

    Hello
    How are you all going?
Pope Francis is so wonderful I love everything he says!!
He has such a great focus on loving all people without discrimination and we need a good example like that. This world needs more love of our fellow brothers and sisters. God bless Pope Francis!!
I love his idea about trying to make a poorer Church that is more humble and less focused on money.
I am enjoying life at the moment I can't remember if I mentioned but I am back studying my Theology Degree. At the moment my subjects are Mariology and Christology. It is very interesting stuff and keeps me thinking.
I am currently doing an assignment on the Immaculate Conception which is interesting!!
Life is good on my end. I pray you are all well too

    Ah, yogurt sounds good.

I think Pope Francis will bring a greater sense of faith back to the Church. Our RCIA program had a full inquiry class last week. First night of the new class schedule. And at least 3 proclaimed they were inquiring about Holy Mother Church because of Pope Francis. Interesting !

I agree, we should start up the Chaplet again. I'll pray it with you.

Umnn; . . .fruit and berries! I think I'll bring some yogurt to add to the mix!

I don't suppose that anyone has thought to air out our virtual room? I will try to take care of that tomorrow! Along with some much needed dusting!

What do you think about our new Pope? I am excited that he is such a hands on type of man! I don't know much about him but I have ordered a couple of books on him so I hope to learn more!

I am making a commitment to pray the Chaplet of St. Maximilian everyday. When we stopped praying the Chaplet here on the group, I got out of the habit. These times are so difficult, though, that I think we will all need all the help we can get!

    Hey James!

Thanks for keeping the lounge chair for me! Whew! I thought I would make that coffee, lemonade, instead!!
It's good to see you guys again! I found that I don't do well when I can't keep up with my friends and how they are doing!

My computer crashed again today but as it was NOT my hard drive, this time. It was a simple matter of Internet explorer and my son took care of the problem by circumventing it and downloading something to take its place. I don't understand any of it! All that is important to me IS THAT IT WORKS!!

I am SO excited about our new Pope! He is so different from the two previous popes that it will take some getting used to him, but he seems to be a very special person! I think I will order a couple of the books on him and see what I can learn!

Well kiddo, I'm beginning to yawn, so I best be getting off of here! Hope to see you again while we continue to travel with Father Maximilian!
