    Thanks!
I believe it means that he is in heaven praying for you to perservere to the end. God allows him to intercede on our behalf to bring us back to God and to be reconcilled with God. At least that is what happened to me.

I don't know anything about enrolling for money to be his spiritual child, I think its just something that happens that is supernatural and money can't buy that.

    I hope that helped.

Padre Pio appeared to me on 12.6.2003. He appeared in a dream and blessed me. I then found spontaneously a way on which I could well get through a difficult time. Padre Pio told me: "Heal yourself. You will get all the help you need."

    Hi bauerice,

Do you have the address or email to the Monastery at San Giovanni Rotondo? Or their website?

Padre Pio used his guardian angel constantly by sending them to help others and to assist their guardian angels

    Let us, as followers of Padre Pio, remember t:he feast of THE HOLY GUARDIAN ANGELS;
(The 26th Saturday of the year)

O God, in your infinitie providence you deign to send your holy angels to be our guardians. Grant to us who pray to you that we may be defended by them in this life and rejoice with them in the next.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. - Amen.

Greetings, and God's blessings to all of you. You all probably know this, but I thought I'd post it here anyway in case somebody didn't.

    Quote from Wikipedia online:
On 20 September 1918, while hearing confessions, Padre Pio is said to have had his first occurrence of the stigmata—bodily marks, pain, and bleeding in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus Christ. This phenomenon continued for fifty years, until the end of his life. The blood flowing from the stigmata is said to have smelled of perfume or flowers, a phenomenon mentioned in stories of the lives of several saints and often referred to as the odour of sanctity.

I tried to post a picture too, but could figure how.

May God bless us, protect us from harm, and lead us to every lasting life. - Amen

    william3 says 'Hey"!

CatholicFireman, you were talking yesterday about the Padra Pio foundation of America. Could you tell more about the foundation?

    O Mary concieved without sin,
Pray for us who have recourse to you.
    Hail Mary...
    Amen.

I'd like to become a Spiritual Child too.

I will pray for the graces to glorify God in this, and to honor St Padre Pio. (will take a lot of prayers for me!)

    I love this Saint!

Actually, most places I search sa the following:
Padre Pio Spiritual Child Association Conditions:
To live intensly a life of divine grace.
To prove your faith with words and actions, living a true Christian life.
To desire to remain under the protection of the Blessed Padre Pio, and to want to enjoy the fruits of his prayers and sufferings.
To imitate the venerated Padre's virtue, particularly his love for Jesus Crucified, for the Most Blessed Sacrament, for the Madonna, for the Pope and for the entire Church.
To be animated by a sincere spirit of charity towards all.

Several sites also say to write to the monastery but I don't know who to trust.

I am curious as to how one becomes a spiritual child of St. Pio. I have been told two ways by both The Blue Army and the Padre Pio Foundation of America. Please feel free to tell me what you think. Bauerice's testimony gave me an idea and I think I will try to contact San Giovanni Rotondo and ask them. Pax†

During my journey into the RCC. I felt Padre Pio guiding me. When I was confirmed at the Easter Vigil (7 yrs ago) I was proud to take the name Pio as my Patron. I since sent my testimony to Italy and was adopted as a spiritual child of Padre Pio.
