Honor thy Blessed Mother Mary
Visit the forum of this group.
“For behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed”—Luke 1:48
The purpose of this group is to honor our Blessed Mother who being the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ was also given to us by Christ Himself while on the cross; “When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son." Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his home”—John 19:26-27. We as Christians are obligated to follow Gods commandments and are therefore obligated by the 4th commandment to honor our Blessed Mother; “Honour thy father and thy mother”-- Exodus 20:12.
We as Christians should be happy though to honor our Blessed Mother because her “soul doth magnify the Lord.”—Luke 1:48, and by honoring her we glorify God and proclaim His greatness! “In every nation which shall hear thy name, the God of Israel shall be magnified on occasion of thee”—Judith. We should also be happy to honor our Blessed Mother my dear friends in Christ because honoring her is also beneficial for our wellbeing and perfection! “I am the mother of fair love, and of fear, and of knowledge, and of holy hope.”—Sirach 24:24, and “In me is all grace of the way and of truth, in me is all hope of life and of virtue”—Sirach 24:25. “So now, O children, listen to me; instruction and wisdom do not reject! Happy are those who keep my ways, watching daily at my gates. For he who finds me finds life, and wins favor from the Lord.”—Prov 8:32-35!
Join me my friends in expressing our love for Our Lady by sharing our prayers, stories, experiences, and knowledge of this amazing Mother that Our Lord has given to us. May we grow in understanding and love for our Mother and let us always with joy thank God and say with the angels in heaven;
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee”—Luke 1:28 “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.”---Luke 1:42, “Blessed are thou, O daughter, by the Lord the most high God, and above all women upon earth. For he has so magnified thy name this day, that thy praise shall not depart out of the mouth of men”—Judith 13:23-25
