I agree that you can't just vote for a candidate based on being a republican because not all of them are pro-life. You have to screen them carefully on all of their views. That is as close as I can come to agreeing with 62Joy.

I think the biggest problem I have with her comments is the willingness to give government control on all aspects of life. If you really want to see what a candidate is all about see how much money they donate to charities. And then look at what charities they donate (if they have any). I kinda resent the heartless way that conservative republicans are protrayed when lets face it.... they are caring and to give money (and many times lots of money) to their charities. Liberal democrats very, very little.

62Joy you think that programs like foodstamps, unemployment are great and to that I say they are necessary but they should not be unlimited. Many liberals democrats are all for "helping" families, but if they are asked to "give" then it is "not me" or "I can't afford that".

Jesus ask us to care for the poor, not the government. It is my job and yours also 62Joy, not the God has no place here government.

I really don't know why you don't like Mitt Romney. I think he is a very good man and I am not troubled by him being a Mormon. I also believe him to be very conservative.

Bloomberg is the sponsor. Fox and CNN have already sponsored debates and this one is to be solely on the economy. Should be good.

Am Traditional Conservative Catholic and Fiscal True Conservative, as The Catholic Church and Christ is, not Enrich, More Empower the Richest, most Profitable Few: The Policy, Agenda of the GOP, Tea Party, FOX propaganda of hatred, false spins. Our Family Lived under Hitler, His False lies, policies. Germany and Japan, niow China have Boomed as the World Economic Powers, increasingly so, as we drop into third world labor and dependant economy, because of the same Above cited agenda of GOP/TEA/FOX.

Catholic Social Teaching has always focused on helping the Poorest, not the Wealthiest. Pope Leo XIII's classic Rerum Novarum of the 1880's condemned the centralized wealth/capitalism of the 1880's monopolies.
    • The Child Labor economic slavery of wealth, tiny pay, no social concern for families was corrected in the 20th Century by Anti-Monopoly, no Child Labor, minimum wage legistation and enforcement that led to massive economic prosperity.
The Flood of wealth Up, Centralized econmic power in Wall Street and a few, now untaxed, USA jobs and companies federally subsidized Shipped Overseas in the 1980's, with "Free Market" Unenforced, unrestrained centralized capitalsm of 1981-1989, renewed more severe 2001-2009 Are what caused All our insolvable Problems, including Massive Deficits.[list] These Radical Policies have Flooded Wealth up to the Richest few, Untaxed, on Wall Street and the Very wealthiest 2%, the eact opposite proof of the false 'trickle down'. .
    • And blame All these problems on Obama, while supporting Tea Party/GOP, ALL GOP Presidential Candidates: the 100% Voting block against ANY Obama economic reform, tax the richest, most profitable 4%?
    .
Has anybody thought Where the Problems Began 1981-1989, 2001-2009? and what All GOP Candidates want to take us Now? Instead of the Booming Green energy Current Fuel technology of the European Union, China, drill for obsolete poluting Oil in the Everglades? Focus on our Military power spending greater thasn the Entire World, with No Military Enemies?

One can not be a faithful Catholuic and supporter of Enrich the Richest, flood of wealth Up, instead of 'trickle down'. Pope Leo XIII condemned Centered wealth capitalism in the classic Rerum Novarum of the 1880s, the wealth monopolies in the USA. then.
    • The anti-monopoly, anti child labor, lowest wages of the turn of the 20th century was corrected, until renewed, internationalized in the USA 1981-1989 and 2001-2009: unenforced unlimited 'free-market': The opposite of Catholic Teaching: help the Neediest, poorest to help themselves.

The Catholic Social Concern Is The Poor, the Needy: G.K.Chesterton. He added Greed destroys people and cultures, especially greed for Money, wealth.
    • G. K. Chesterton added that the Catholic Church "is commune- ism'
    Communism was Quite the opposite.
    • The masterful G.K.Chesterton shown August 28.
    G. K. Chesterton was never wrong, and never refuted, seriously.........

Hi all. I am sure this group will have action as the election looms. Any thoughts about Rick Perry? Santorum should be the Pres. It all starts with God. A lack of belief is tearing this country apart. Not to mention our spirituality. The Catholic Patriot link I have never seen before. Thaks for posting. As soon as I saw the advertisement for RealCatholicTV.com, I joined the group. Michael Voris and his crew are Outstanding.

The Tea Party is The Oppisite of American History and Tradition, as are the GOP Presidencies of 19801-1989, and 2001-2009. They hae Economically and Morally Destroyed the Goofd Name of the USA, Currently in the House of Representatrives. All of our Permanent Crises are Preciselly Because of their Radical Enrich/Empower the Richest, most Profitable. They were/Are Preciselly Against the Social Values that Our Church lives, ideally worldwide, and The Policy of The Vatican and the USCCB.
    • This is a Catholic Answers Forumn, No place for false, misleading Political Hype of "Right Wing", GOP, Obama administration, nor Tea Parrty., because Their Policies are the Opposite of Catholic Philosphy, Social Values, and Practice: The Vatican and the USCCB. Enriching, empowering, Transfering Ownership in the USA to The Richest, Policies of Military Number One, and Zero easy defense o the USA From the Forewarned 9/11 Attacks is a violation of the Constitution, and Basic Morality.
    • See my major disertation on the new "Traditional Catholics" website, which is a bizarre Political misnomer.
No Faithful Catholic Can support the Agendae of Tea Party, Obama administration, nor the New GOP: Opposites of Catholic Teaching, Morality, especially "Social Values". See USCCB "Faithful Citizenhip" Definitive Guide: Not One liner, but All Principles. Our Faith Lives ideally Wordwide, non-profit.
    • CAF is a World-respected Catholic Website, the Wrong place to Mislead a few unknowing into false Political ideas (Of Enriching the Richest few Percent, Military Dominance in the world at the cost of Traditionl "Social Net" the USA began.)
Our Catholic Family are WW II Displaced Person Refugees, 1949, by Catholic Social Services and have Direct Political and Military, and key Catholic Priniples Moral Leadership. We Lived under the true "Right Wing" anti morality Hitler.
    • Vivat Jesu, not false political hype at CAF
