Hi, living in Venezuela with my wife, and my Spanish is not native, so there are many things I don't understand. And crime is a very serious problem here. Getting very involved with the local parish is not as easy as it sounds since my Spanish is ok but not native. Please keep my wife Isa and me in your prayers, for the graces we need, and my sons Ben and Jon, and parents, who live in the usa. peace. Art

I am an intellectually formidable individual. It would seem arrogant if I were to say spiritually formidable, however. I see little need to be modest in matters that are intellectual. The Church teaches (at least this is my impression) that faith and reason are not incompatible. It is something I practice.

Neo-unbelievers feel that science will be their salvation. I have on occasion dabbled in intellectual combat with the adversary. For this I will on occasion will be the target of a voodoo curse or two. There are those in the world who practice the black arts. The sort of curses I endure are of the organized sort, however, and so I ask for you to pray for me.

I have recently engaged in such a battle and I am not being melodramatic. Though I will likely endure without your prayers if I were not to call upon the Holiness of the community it could result in a subtle denial of the Trinity, Satan denied the Trinity. I do not speak to you as a weakling. I do not cry for help. I am calling you to Holiness on my behalf.

I asked God for a miracle. For the salvation of souls that would otherwise be damned. May they come to know God and discover a pleasing relationship with God.

My loved ones are more vulnerable than I. Though I too need your prayers, their need is greater than mine. There is someone close to me who will soon under go surgery. Please say the rosary for I am devoted to Mary. She too is devoted to Mary. More specifically, I am asking you to pray for my mother.

I do not intend, by any means to be selfish, but my family is in need of many prayers at this time.

1: My mom is very ill due to unprecidented complications from a surgery. She is the sole breadwinner in her home (my younger two brothers still live there) and she has been out of work for several weeks. The surgeon says that she is healing very slowly. I admit that we have been blessed by our Lord as the complications could have been fatal. At this point we are mostly concerned about her finances.]

2: I am applying for the Masters of Occupational therapy for grad school. I had all of the prerequisites completed and then found out that one of the therapists I had shadowed was no longer available to confirm the hours I spent with her! We have tried facebook, her old place of employment, and searching through other friends in the field. Thus far she has been unreachable. I have to redo up to 20 hours of observation before 12/10 in order to complete my application for acceptance. If I cannot complete it I have to wait another year and a half for the next session to open! As a single mom of a child on the Autism spectrum, I really need to complete school to provide not only financially but also therapy!

3: My son just realized he is different from other kids. I am blessed because my son has a high IQ, but his social and sensory difficulties make it hard for him to interact with other children. I think he is becoming depressed.

I am sorry that this sounds so very needy! God has always provided for me in the past, most often miraculously, but it never hurts to have help on the prayer front!

Hi everyone, I have a really urgent prayer request. I checked my personal email this morning and saw several emails with the subject message sending failed. It turns out that my email was used to send spam messages to several people in my contacts.

I already changed my password, but I'm worried since this is my primary email and use it for all my accounts and other important things. Please pray that my email would continue to be safe and that the hacker if any, wasn't able to retrieve any personal information or account details.
