Hi Brighitte! Yea, be the best you. Don't let others set standards for you. I've learned that others ideas and ideals may not fit me. I think it's going to take time. I myself am just starting to realize I have a say in what goes on.

Welcome! People pleasing isn't just an occasional, put others first. This can become a major problem and can ruin ones life.God wants us to love others as ourselves. But putting aside your values and bending at everyones request and sacraficing your very being is unhealthy. We also need to love ourselves, and putting yourself first doesn't make you a bad person...
