I'm interested about Guardian angels and I know I'm not the only one. This group is for people who have questions and answers about them or just Angels in general.
Anyone who has information about them please post your thoughts :)

The stories where you have experienced an Angel encounter or perhaps you have heard from someone else is definitely welcome here. Hopefully this page will inspire people to realise that God is always here for us and that it is proven through our Guardian Angels.

I just checked out the link to the Little Office of the Holy Angels. I was most delighted by the words in the hymns. Beautiful! And thank you all for the beautiful pictures of the guardian angels. I'm filled with happiness to forget the problems of the world for a little while and be distracted by thoughts of guardian angels!

Guardian Angel Prayer

My dear Guardian Angel, I beg thee to plead with God for me that I may always keep my life pure and happy. Protect me from the many dangers that confront me on my journey through life. Strengthen me in my struggle against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil.

My loving Angel-friend, help me to be pure in thought, desire, word, and deed in imitation of Jesus, the Lover of pure souls, and of Mary, the Virgin of virgins. Obtain for me a deep sense of modesty which will be reflected in my external conduct.

I beg thee, gentle Angel, to be the guardian of my purity. For thy great love for Jesus, the King of the Angels, and for Mary, the Queen of the Angels, keep me from all uncleanness, and grant that my mind may be untainted, my heart pure, and my body chaste. Help me always to serve Jesus and Mary in perfect chastity, so that one day I may merit to belong to those of whom Jesus spoke: "Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God." Amen.

Guardian Angel Prayer

My dear Guardian Angel, thou wert given to me by my merciful God to be the faithful companion of my earthly exile. I honor and love thee as my most devoted friend to whom God has entrusted the care of my immortal soul. With all my heart I thank thee for thy love and constant care of me.

Dearest Angel-friend, I beg thee to guard and protect me, a poor sinner. Conduct me on the way of life. Warn me against every occasion of sin, and fill my soul with wholesome thoughts and loving encouragement to practice virtue. Intercede for me that I may share in thy burning zeal in God's service and devoted love for His Divine Will.

Forgive me, loving Guardian, for so often disregarding thy advice in the past and for ignoring thy inspirations. I promise in the future to obey thee willingly and faithfully. Thou knowest the value of my soul in the eyes of God. Never permit me to forget that it was redeemed by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Let no stain of evil disfigure the beauty of my soul, nor any sinful thought or deed rob me of my dignity as a child of God. Keep me from scandal that I may never become an occasion of sin to others and thus destroy the work which Christ has wrought in their souls by His bitter Passion and Death.

Dear Guardian Angel, I thank God Who has daily shown His mercy to me through thee. May I show my gratitude by following thy guidance. May I enjoy thy protection in this dangerous journey through life that I may reach my eternal home in Heaven, there to praise the mercy of God towards me in union with thee and all the other Angels and Saints forever. Amen.

My Guardian Angel, help me!
In love I call to thee,
The Friend and gentle Teacher
That Heaven has sent to me.
Thanks for thy loving kindness
My soul desires to give;
I would not die without thee,
Nor would I dare to live.

My Guardian Angel, help me!
Direct my wavering will,
Be near me as my Leader,
Be my Defender still,
And keep me in the pathway
That leads to realms above;
Enkindle in my bosom
The fire of sacred love.

When I am sad, bring comfort,
When weak, thy power display;
In thy strong arms support me
Across each rugged way.
Let not my footsteps falter
Along the road of right;
Make safe for me the journey
Of justice and of light.

My Guardian Angel, help me!
So loyal and sincere,
O fail me not, dear Angel,
When death's dark hour is near.

I asked and received confirmation by seeing three things that just stood out like a sore thumb, and one was a pic of my son from grade school I'd seen many times on my frig, in the background was a star, so hence, I call my Guardian Angel Star.
