HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY to everyone here. We honor those who have died in service to our great country today, but really, we honor everyone who has ever served. This is because when they entered the service, they knew there was a chance that they would never return to our precious land alive. Also, those who did survive may well have seen or even been best friends with someone who didn't. So to all who have served our country, THANK YOU!

Hello we have been at a 2nd home without phone or internet but will say thanks for all th prayers adn for teh grace of God
we go to therapy for her knee at least 2 times a week and i will be having catarct surgery Tuesday so til i post again

I was at my friends house down the street yesterday and am going back today, there were about 6 of us together all females about the same age and we had a ball. I didn't get home until about 1am. She and I have been neighbors and on the same block for 24 years. They are wonderful people, and excellent cooks. She ask me to come back today at about 1 O'Clock and bring Anthony thay are at it again and so I'd better get a shower and ready to go because all of the kids are going to be there too. We'd better get started, for he and I slept late this morning. Take care all, I care. Brenda

Hello flower lady, i know how you feel not having your grandson with you. I am very lucky that when my daughter moved out when they bought their own place, they gave my granddaughter the choice wether to move with them or stay with me and she decided to stay with me. I think my daughter also thought that I will be left on my own so they were happy to let her stay.
At least they are leaving close to you and you can see him.
When my grandaughter goes to spend a night with her mother, I can't sleep. People always tell me to let her stay with her mother on weekends to give me some free time, the problem is I don't know what to do without her coz' I am used to have her all the time.

Lauraabarlow, I have devoted all of my attention to you tonight. Let me tell you, first of all, what does your child having autism have to do with custody, that is preposterous, pay that no mind. Secondly, my grandchid has ADD, my beloved Anthony. My family has had so many problems with him. He makes straight A's and B's one semester and all c's and D's the next. He is highly intelligent , but cannot stay still for a moment.They have different kinds of ADD, one you simply give your children too much sugar, but the kind that he has is an actual chemical imbalace in the brain. His attention spand is like 20 minutes, after that he is finished. He is highly inttelegent and witty. He has tought me so much until it is amazing. He knows about the stars and different planets, he knows about math and biology and things that I don't know. He teaches me. He knows about the street life better than I have ever known and I thought that I for sure was or used to be a street person. I am literally afraid of his knowlege. He has a humorous personallity that you wouldn't believe. I and nobody in my family can figure him out. He is our special child, given to us from God!! I will pray for you to understand that God gives us these children as a challenge to our faith. Will we except these challenges on his terms or ours. I could use some pray, I live in South Dakota and the Missouri River flows straight through the state from the north to the south. The whole river is flooded. The SD National Guard is working to help communities. My two son's are on alert and may have to go help. That is part of why they joined, but the people along the river are loosing whole communities.

This room is very busy, in evening it takes a lot to catch up on all the news.

I am 52, work full time. I have two sons 31 and 21. My oldest son gave me 3 grandsons 8, 5 and 3, so they keep me busy also. My youngest son is engaged to be married next summer.

It is fun to read all of everyone's activies and pray for each other.
