For seniors and shut- ins

Group created by flower lady

A group for seniors or shut ins who simply want to talk to someone about anything that you want. Our grandkids, our troubles and concerns, our loneliness. However, we welcome all. With age comes wisdom. With God we can accomplish anything together.

    such a beautiful mass at St. Catherines. There were nuns that were visiting . I have such admiration for them; for their walk in life and dedication to Christ....truly beautiful ...When we went up for communion they made sure everyone went up before them..that was truly humbling....have a beautiful day friends

    A religious man is a person who holds God and man in one thought at one time, at all times, who suffers harm done to others, whose greatest passion is compassion, whose greatest strength is love and defiance of despair.

    I love the saying about the gardner, how true it is. As far as your cart wheel you just haven't done one in a while. Nothing a little exercise won't fix, but old you ain't, LOL! I can only dream of being 42 again. Some of the best years of my life were in my 40's.

    Where is everybody?

    Don't worry. God is never blind to your tears, never deaf to your prayers and never silent to your pain. He sees, He hears and He's never too far.

    Have a great day all and God

    We are his seeds planted strong and firm;
    within us he instills his love and his word
    Our blessed Father within heaven's reign;
    sends us his spirit within his blessed name
    Hence forth we journey to tell of all his grace;
    blessed redeemer within thou heav'nly place
    Through out the world all his blessed children;
    praise him greatly with strength and courage
    What a beautiful savior our hearts posses;
    a beautiful Savior within his spirit or flesh.....Kelly O'Mara

    Morning Prayer
    Lord, I love to start my day with you;
    your love and blessings see me through
    With you in my heart I always fare ;
    your loving spirit follows me everywhere
    Lord,I thank you for all you do;
    you keep me safe and love me true
    I love our morning talks we share;
    the strength you give is always there
    With faith in you I start my day;
    while you keep me safe when on my way.......Kelly O'Mara

    I went out in the yard and did some running and jumping yesterday with kids...In my demented state (LOL) I thought for a moment I was a high school cheerleader once again ..an attempted cart wheel ; went wrong..(my accident a few years back wont let me anymore)....let us just say I realize especially today that I am 42 and no longer 22

    There are many tired gardeners but I've seldom met old gardeners. I know many elderly gardeners but the majority are young at heart. Gardening simply does not allow one to be mentally old, because too many hopes and dreams are yet to be realized. The one absolute of gardeners is faith. Regardless of how bad past gardens have been, every gardener believes that next year's will be better. It is easy to age when there is nothing to believe in, nothing to hope for; gardeners, however, simply refuse to grow up. Thomas Jefferson said once, "Though an old man, I am but a young gardener"."
